I don't get it, hockey players are supposed to be choir boys and model citizens. Part of the propaganda to sell hockey as the greatest game in the world.

Yeah. Considering all the time, effort (both family and individual) and dollars (Mom & Dad) just to get to the elite level of junior hockey to turn around and do something stupid like this?!? Winning the World Juniors for a Canadian is pretty much a guarantee of getting drafted to the NHL (if not already) or at the very least a tryout somewhere. Dumb kids potentially pissing the opportunity of $M of dollars away?

So new details came out today. Text from one of the player to the girl. The story seems that the girl consented. But she did felt bad about the 'party' the next day and talked about it to her mother.
It's her mother who contacted the police. Lawyers came in and as good lawyers they must have coerce the mother to sue. It worked as she got millions.
There is 2 short videos proving the girl consented to being there and having fun with the guys.
I had a few little party that went a bid over the line while in college. Or working as a barman. Luckily we were all poor as fuck with no indication of becoming star so we just stick to having fun. And yes including the girl

Yeah the girl said that she would participate but what other can she say? It's her mother that must be a bit pissed off. But yet they (daughter, mother and their lawyers!) must be pleased with the millions they got for a consensual little party.
It's Hockey Canada that got it ALL wrong. They preferred to pay to cover it up. Which does not work anymore in 2022. They should have let the mother and investigator go to court and the hockey player would have walked away free of this.
You have to put yourself as of a young 20 year old guy and girl. Your hormone are through the roof. Just the wind would get me hard back then. I participated in a lot of little parties that turned sexual in my 20's. And yes I am ashamed of a few ones
..That's just probably it. She's just a girl that had sex with a few guys. All handsome and athletic so she fell for it. Yet she was ashamed of it the next day. It's her mother that saw an opportunity out of this.

The lawyers of the players have not yet released those videos to investigator. I doubt they were leaked.
