Civilians die in war all the time. Its collateral damage. Russia has killed far fewer then the US killed in Iraq. Ukraine military has also killed thousands of its own citizens.
Still Putin killed people intentionally since he had no such compelling reason to start this war and kill so many people. He had a simple easy option: just not start this war, so this is a big international crime and Russian dictatorship must be destroyed, the dictator must be jailed for life and Russia must be forcefully demilitarized and democratized like post-WWII Germany or Iraq was.

that is pretty funny. How do you know that the option to not proceed was 'easy". You think he did it for fun and laughs? You do realize that if NATO tries to carry out your plan is carried out we will all most likely be killed right? Man the intellect on this board seems to drop by the minute.

Your posts do really stupefy me.. Are you working for Putin's propaganda? It was easy not to start this war because Ukraine is a democratic European country which has never threatened Russia or whichever country and Ukraine's policy is integration with the EU. If the Russian dictator did not start that war, everything would be like it was before.
What NATO plan are you talking about and how would we all be killed by this plan??? What the heck are you talkin about??? Do you believe Ukraine would make NATO start the nuclear war lol??? With whom???

That is very funny. There was a was a coup and then a civil war Don't pretend this was some normal european nation. Ethnic Russians were being attacked by the army. Ukraine ignored the unsc endorsed peace agreement they signed and were actively trying to undermine russias economic initiatives. They brought this war on themselves

You are making false statements. There was no coup in Ukraine since nobody seized power illegally. After the then president resigned as a result of mass protests all over the country, there were new presidential and parliamentary elections in which new president and parliament were legally elected with no nazi party present in the parliament or government. Looks like you just repeat Putin's nonsensical propaganda. There was never civil war in Ukraine, instead it was a disguised Russian invasion initiated by the disguised Russian military who of course also managed to recruit a few local sympathizers into their newly formed military groups which would not qualify to be the representation of the significant portion of the local population anyways since those groups were organized, financed and commanded by Russia. So you are making fake Russian propaganda statements:
1) there was no coup, instead it was a mass protest with the resulting re-election of government (rather common thing in democratic countries btw).
2) there was no civil war but Russian invasion instead which actually started in 2014 but it was just disguised and non full scale with the view of imitating a civil war. So Ukrainian army just responded to the Russian aggression in the Eastern Ukraine. Btw, the occupation of Crimea was not even disguised, Russians overtly invaded it in 2014 which was already just an evident serious international crime.
Regardless of the case, you should be aware that whatever happens inside any country (coups, civil wars, etc), no other country has the right to invade it unless this country poses a threat to international security.

T.O.
Russia lost when the USA sent aid, the USA AND NATO lost all on their own in Afghanistan. I don't hate the USA I just hate hypocrisy. Its patronizing. What about Germany. Who caused more shit in the last century then Germany? and yet you forgive them. Millions killed and maimed by Japan and yet you kiss their ass. Russia helped us defeat those foes and saved MILLIONS of western lives, yet you hate them? You have no criteria for saying the Russian war is uglier and nastier so basically you admit its RUBBISH. A subjective opinion based on nothing.
"What about the US...what about Germany...Russia saved millions" ya the same Russia that connived with the Nazis,
you don't hate hypocrisy you redefine it with your whataboutism and non-sequiturs, I showed you some comparisons but you chose to run away.
This thread is not about Germany or Japan and nobody forgave them they both got destroyed and transformed into decent democracies
but not your favorite shithole and yes you hate the US and the west, your posts speak for themselves,
you'll cheerlead and apologize for any thug and any nasty regime as long as they're anti American.

The US invested heavily into NAZI Germany. Russia is not my favorite. I just reject the current narrative and the efforts create enmity with Russia and reject the narrative that its all Putins fault The facts tell me different.

Ahh yes, why were people from the US state dept there making decisions on Ukraines future? It was all done with external interference. THere was a civil war, civil wars often have outside actors. Putin feels Ukraine presents a threat to Russian security. If all you say is true, why did the UNSC as well as France and Germany endorse the Minsk accords. As for the so called "rules" the West has flouted these so many times, its not really a rule any more. How many nations has the West invaded since WWII vs USSR/Russia?

Why can't the US (or any other country) make foreign policy decisions as long as they conform to international laws and agreements? The main point here is whether the US breaks any international laws or agreements in its policy toward Ukraine or kills people in masses? Likewise, Ukraine decides on whether to accept the US policy or not again following international agreements.
Minsk accords were proposed as a sweetener to Putin so that he stop his invasion into Ukraine with the view of avoiding full scale war, similar to what some European countries did to Hitler before WWII.
So are you saying if in the past other countries flouted international law, then Putin now also has the right to flout the law and kill innocent people? Following the same logic, did then Saddam also have the right to flout international laws and invade Kuwait?

I still don't understand how you claim to be anti war and are against US actions but not against this Russian aggression.
They're all wars and the aggressor is the instigator, including Russia in this case.

Laws are set 2 ways, by legislative or by precedent. If the west has refused to enforce the norms and accepted the US invasion of sovereign nations and assisted it, then the law that applies is the law of the jungle. Might is right. And this is where we are now. Russia felt threatened by Ukraine's evolution. They raised their concerns though diplomatic channels. They were rebuffed and we only left to act unilaterally on the risk they perceived.
