Rogers Canada wide outage this morning

My Rogers internet is currently down
Seeing reports on twitter its nationwide.

Anyone else having the same problem??

Ok. I just figured out I was using the hotel wifi and so I am able to post. Thought it was just wifi since my phone was working. LOL. Nope. Was just the hotel wifi.

Oh shit cable is down too. That sucks. I cut the cord a while ago.

Our government at work to keep out desperately needed competition. Although I must say that I am rather pleased with both Rogers and Bell but we must bring in other companies. The overload of both networks is going to be a huge problem.

Apparently it's been down since 2am this morning.

In whitby it went down about 7am. Based on a few of my smart tech things in the home. I got notices that they went offline about 7am and they rely on internet connections.

This is why I split my internet and cellphone between Rogers and Bell. If one is out, I have the other as backup

That is smart, but personally I can’t stand Bell. For the couple times a year that both wifi and cell are down, I would rather deal with that then Bell all year.

That is just me personally. But if we had more options in Canada, I would do the same with another company.

Rogers Net and Virgin phones. Always best to split.

Does it work up north though? That is my issue. I need a phone with excellent service even in some remote areas. That is why I haven’t gone with my phone to another carrier.

My Rogers wireless internet wasn't working this morning but it started up again maybe an hour ago. Currently far up North, north of Peterborough.

I find it weird they're not giving us even a hint what the issue is could be. Usually they at least give something vague, don't they? But an issue this big, had me wondering if it's some sort of cyber attack.

Edit: Maybe not though.

Now my Bell internet is very, very slow. I am wondering if its a Russian cyberattack for us supporting Ukraine in the war.
