Wow , that is why you have to leave stuff like this to people who actually know what they are doing.
If you are going to set off your own fireworks you need
1.) somewhere safe
2.) A sturdy base to put the fireworks
The fact that the guy in the video set off the fireworks by the car shows that he either had no idea what he was doing or he was just trying to be cool and show off for his friends. Its a good thing the parents got those little kids out of there fast.
