I took no offense at your comment. My post was aimed at those who suggest arming minimally trained civilian teachers and other civilian school staff as a way to protect schools. Trained armed guards, especially those with police and military experience, could be effective, if there are sufficient funds to hire them at all schools.Yes, its feasible to have armed guards at every door, in every school in the US. Hire veterans. They are experienced, fearless and will defend children and teachers. T
Not sure why you took offense at my comment
I did not suggest arming teachers,
I said "guards"
and mentioned veterans as in "retired military"
I'm not sure if there is any reliable way to identify which schools are most at risk for shootings, so most schools would have to be protected.
