The crisis in wheat has been worsened by India, the world’s second largest producer, banning exports of the cereal and higher costs for farmers from fertiliser, feed and fuel.
Some fools will blame climate change. not the case , higher CO2 drives up crop yields

the war is primary driver of this problem, however energy is the secondary driver
it lands at the feet of the loonie left fools who have worked to shut down FF without having an abundant affordable substitute in place
Wind and solar are not going to cut it.... not even close

Fertilizer is going to be a huge problem

The fertilizers ARE a huge problem as
they have doubled and tripled in price. The prices will be passed to the consumers, of course.

OMG!
Its one thing to be an anti science type but its an entire level of crazy to come up with theories like this.
Heat and drought from climate change are the cause.

There is plenty wheat. What the article does not address is the disruption to wheat and fertilizer distribution and production that has been caused by sanctions on Russia. Middle men cannot or will not buy Russian products for fear of sanctions consequences from the US. as a result millions face poverty and starvation...

Canada has enough to feed you. So do not panic oil&gas, unless you want to substitute it for Premium Gasoline in your cereal!!
I understand it is more a logistic than scarcity issue. At this
point the world has enough to feed everyone. Nonetheless there
is a segment of global population who may have to suffer like
there is a real food scarcity problem.

I don't have to be a liberal to be concerned. As a kid I fed
stray dogs in the street.

Russia has been blocking the export of Ukrainian Wheat and other exports at the Seaport of Odesa.
Yes, the blame for all this catastrophe is at the Table belonging to Putin.
The food scarcity is also exacerbated by the Supply chains and the droughts / floods that have impacted the destruction of crops thanks to the Climate Change that is Manmade!!
I do not have to be a conservative to accept these very basic facts!!
