This not a win. Its a bandaid. The company did stock buybacks instead of equipment upgrades, and is now essentially going to get a bailout as a near monopoly producer and govt contractor instead of regulatory punishment. Part of the problem is they have bought off the govt to prevent the sale of European formula to reduce competition via the FDA in the first place.

Since Reagan they have been willing to back whatever puppet they need to that will give them what they want ; to slash all programs that help the less fortunate, give massive tax breaks to the wealthiest, eliminate all gun laws and not give women the right to choose to abort a pregnancy even when raped.
