Ana just had a recent meltdown with Cenk by her side. It looks like they've realized that "The Squad" is nothing but controlled opposition. Ironically, they are proving Jimmy Dore right on SOME things.

Youtube channels like TYT and Secular Talk (Kyle Kulinski) have been losing subscribers and views as of late. It seems like their audience has realized before they have, that pandering to corrupt establishment politicians is useless.

Calm down. Prolonged exposure to the media rabbit hole can have negative consequences. A good forest drench would do you good, a few hours away from the net...

When was TYT ever pro-democrat?

I thought they were all in on the "Democrats are controlled opposition and to blame for everything" train for ages.

They were backing progressive candidates.

When they got money from Roamer and Katzenberg they became more centrist.

This could be a ploy though, their audience is waning badly.

I'll take your word for it.
I associate them with the so-called "dirtbag left" and the general "the Democratic party are the real enemy" crowd but I really don't follow them much at all.

They're more like MSNBC now. They'll tell their audience to vote Democrat no matter what, even if they criticize them.

Jimmy Dore's channel is actually growing pretty fast.

So they've gotten smarter at politics.

That's bad news.
More people believing stupid things isn't going to help get the country out of the mess it is in.

He's quite wrong about some things, but quite right about other stuff. I don’t regularly watch him, but far lefties are covering Ana's recent meltdown and saying "I told ya so." She's proven a lot of them right.

His wrong moments vastly dwarf his right moments. When he is right it is usually banal and when he is wrong it is usually very stupid and wrapped off with his weird anger issues.
No one should be taking him seriously, IMO. You can get the good parts of his analysis from lots of other people without all his bullshit.

I don't even know who Ana is so I don't know about how people are viewing her "meltdown".

EDIT: Oh, her. (Don't know which "meltdown" I am supposed to watch, since there a bunch of different clips and lots of other people commenting on other clips so who knows.)
Hard to say from what I've seen what she's actually calling for. If it is for citizen activism because lawmaking is too slow, I'm all for it. If it is the whole "Democrats aren't good enough, no one should vote for them or for anyone, all politicians are corrupt" then I'm sorry to see her be so stupid. If it is somewhere in between, then it will depend on what she is actually saying.

I seem to have found it:

Lots of anger. Hopefully she gets her head straight after a couple of days.
I would be curious to see what her ideas are for building things outside the system.
The idiotic "stop supporting the Democrats" is, of course, self-destructive as fuck and part of the reason we're in this mess.

Then there is always the cynical interpretation - Dore has a bigger online audience and that's where the money is so they've decided to chase his audience.

Yes, they're grifters like almost everyone on YouTube.

Deciding to chase an audience isn't grifting unless you're lying and fundraising off that.
If they just decided the online audience wants more "angry at the Democrats" style, that's just an editorial choice.
But like I said, that's the cynical take. While I think Cenk is a pretty cynical guy, I have no idea about Ana and honestly that looked like very real anger.
More likely she is just really pissed off, and hopefully will think through what she actually wants to do and that can be judged on whether or not it is likely to be effective.

They've changed since they got big donor money, as I previously stated.

They were very recently peddling coffee as well. (Maybe they still are)

TYT is not the only channel losing views, as the progressive millennial audience realizes that they have no solutions, just the same old shit.

Jimmy Dore and Breaking Points have growing audiences. I definitely differ from Saagar and Jimmy Dore quite a bit on a lot of things, but they are doing a good job of exposing the elitism and hypocrisy of the establishment..

I find myself watching less and less of YouTube news commentary as of late anyway.

Cenk Uygur is arrogant as fuck, no wonder Ana is losing it. I watched her rant and got a hard on.

TYT lost big when they allowed Emma Vigland to move to the American Lawyer Network.

Emma Vigeland comes across as an establishment liberal as well though. Sam Seder's show was still on TYT's network when Vigeland went over there, however they are no longer part of it.

Ana seems to have toned it down a bit since the meltdown, and made it seem like she was just bitching about The Repubs. I think TYT's board of directors probably got to her.

Dore is a man with even fewer solutions, though. That's the problem. People going "politics is hard" and then going to someone like Dore is bad for the country. Saagar may be even worse from what I remember of him. (He was the one with Krystal Ball as a co-host, right? At least she seems to not be on your list.)

These people having growing audiences is a bad sign.

I find myself watching less and less of YouTube news commentary as of late anyway.
Probably for the best, it sounds like the popular stuff is pretty shit.

Or she thought it through and realized who the real enemy is.

Dore has Jumped the shark on numerous topics now. He is just swinging wildly and trying to rile audiences up.

Breaking Points is starting to create a very real brand. They are slowing adding other contributors content under the banner. And yes the growth has been exponential. They made CNN look foolish over CNN+ with the difference in paid subscribers. I see them as a very real new media outlet in the long run.
