Police said they are looking for a female suspect who fled the station and was last seen west on Bloor Street.
She was wearing a pink or grey hat, a puffy black jacket, a grey hoodie, black pants and carrying a red bag.
They have the technology to install pedestrian barriers but the TTC does not want to spend the money
Too many whack jobs on TTC these days, when I'm on platform waiting for a train , I always stand against the wall and am aware of people around me.
Common sense says not to stand anywhere close to the edge of the platform.
These random acts of violence seem to be happening more and more often. I can quickly think of 3 in the past week (there might be more).
1) Two dudes randomly shot and killed.
2) Five men randomly shot.
3) Woman randomly pushed off the subway platform.

also remember that the Times Square push was from a 40 metre run down the platform to gain momentum- it might not just be someone within your immediate space.
I'm aware of all people on the plat form, always looking around in the distance, nit just my immediate area.

The platform must have been no more than 10 feet wide, during rush hour it would be jammed packed with commuters literally standing at the edge of the platform as the train would be pulling into station, now that was scary!!!!

If I heard correctly, a woman interviewed on Global TV said that the same suspect (still at large) also tried to push her sister. So, the suspect is a serial pusher?

The cost to add ATC for the TTC totals about $1.5B. No one blinked when they dropped that amount of cash
People sleeping on the TTC because there are no more rooming houses or jobs for low/no skilled workers. It's easy to blame drugs, but think about the lack of options available to many of these people before the drugs, let alone if they clean up - then what....
