North Americans have no concept of non sexual touching. It’s totally foreign to them. Europeans totally understand and embrace it.
I agree, but let me specific and say that a group of political extremists have hijacked this issue and have turned North American gender politics into a toxic environment of fear and mistrust.

It is honestly not hard to just keep your hands to yourself. I have been to Europe, a lot. Noone was touching me without my consent. Stop making up excuses.

I will bet you she encountered her share of stinky BO. People with offensive BO often are not aware of the nasty smells they emit.

You’re making excuses to justify not being able to touch non sexually. Don’t worry not every human knows how, no need to make excuses, embrace your phobia. I stand by my comment. Europeans know how to touch non sexually, North Americans are afraid of touching non sexually. They don’t understand how. Kids are taught to be fearful of the touch in North American. Carry on.

The issue is some, and I repeat some women, haven't figured out that with Equality comes other things.

Responsibility
Accountability
Judgement of Above
Consequences

And now it's starting to come back at them.

Ya. I don’t get it. A kiss is not sexual because she didn’t want sex, she was just pulling a prank????

A kiss is sexual. A touch on the arm is not. Some don’t get the difference I guess. The intent does not always have to equal the act but the act is what is the problem regardless of intent.

My point stands. Yours has no bearing on the discussion. In fact it proves my point about accountability and consequences.

Women continue to slap, push, throw drinks, throw items and be rude, condescending and entitled and society allows it to happen without legal and in many cases social consequences. However the rise of social media and short video sharing is continuing to highlight these inequalities.

And that is my point. Pretty woman are used to special treatment But that tide is very slowly turning.

There wouldn't be such furor if she was doing something useful like sucking unsuspecting men's' cocks in bars.

Your point was that women want equality and this should be able to handle the same "touching" that men do. MY point obliterated yours.

No, my point is women HAVE equality but some refuse to take on responsibility, accountability and accept there are consequences for their actions. And not that women should be able to "handle" men touching them but they should STOP touching men without permission.

And if you can't see the difference guess which camp you fall into.......

I don’t know if you are reading incorrectly or not but he is saying that women should NOT be touching others and if they do, they should be held as accountable as men when they touch women without permission.

I just feel like I need to clarify that because I can’t see you not agreeing with this type of equality. Maybe you read wrong or misunderstood. Or maybe I am wrong and you got it along. I don’t know but I thought I should try.

You may be partially right, but you are missing some key phrasing. Anyone who prefaces, "Women want equality BUT..." should not be listened to. Ever.

Thats your privilege speaking. And I clarified SOME. Repeatedly. I have many responsible women in my life. And an SO who walks the walk.

I also have over 30 years in the hospitality industry and young entitled woman are by far a larger problem in bars, restaurants and hotels than men. I have on more times than I can count heard the words "but I'M A GIRL!" and its equivalent for bad behavior and excuses. They are worse for walkouts, cheap tipping, and trying to use their looks for special privileges. And that applies to all to all social standings.

This girl in the video is a perfect example. Quite simply if a guy walked around a bar marking girls clothing up as a joke, and it was your blouse ruined, would you be laughing at the "joke"?

Stop defending this. Its 2022. Hold your sisters accountable and change the behavior.

At no point anywhere have I defended the girl. In fact, I was very much doing the opposite.
