Toronto Passions

With mask mandates lifting, are you still going to wear one?

Will you still where a mask?

  • Yes - all the time

  • Yes - sometimes in settings with big, close crowds like planes, arena,

  • Yes - but only in stores

  • No

  • Depends on my mood that day

  • Don’t know yet.

One last thing to remember, April 27 all pandemic measures come to an end that includes masking in hospitals, LTC homes and on the TTC.

Doubt that most places will enforce masking come tomorrow as it comes with a cost. Someone needs to man the doors and 'enforce' rules which no longer need to be enforced

Time will tell, but how often do you find yourself wanting to take off your shoes and shirt and walk into a store?
But you are aware that some stores do have a sign like that posted, correct?

So if they can make that stipulation, then they can do it with masks as well. End of discussion.

Small businesses would not require a dedicated enforcer. The proprietor can do it himself.

First, you are making the assumption that all small business owners want to continue with forced masking of their customers when it is no longer mandated. Small business owners want business in their shops...highly unlikely they are going to set up artificial barriers to stop people from spending money. I am just going to ignore whatever signs they post as they do not mean shit. By the way, when was the last time you drove 100 km/h on a 400 series highway?

Keep clinging to your mask like Lioness does his blanket

For someone under the age of 70 or so, with at least 2 vaccine doses and no
serious underlying health issues, COVID will almost certainly be a pretty minor
deal, and something you're likely to contract at some point anyway. To me,
there's no reason to wear the mask.

If you're very elderly or sick with other things, then I can see wearing it in crowded
settings like a shopping mall. You need to ask yourself if it's worth it and only you
can answer that.

For me personally, it's absurd. We look like we're in an emergency room in a hospital.
It's amazing what people can get used to in 2 years. It is not normal not to be able to
see people's faces or to be scared to even be around people. You will eventually die
anyway. Enjoy the time you've got.

How the hell do you come to that ridiculous conclusion? 🤪

I didn't bother reading anything after that.

You are the one assuming everyone is going to follow your lead tomorrow and keep masking up.

Thats Ok if I wrote too many words for you. Some struggle to keep up, that's why I posted a picture for you.

You are living in an alternate reality.

Show me where I said "all small businesses" and "everyone will follow my lead". If you can't, then shut your yap and stop embarrassing yourself.

The boat launch for your 9.9 HP aluminum run-about is over there 👉 you can pull it out of the water since you have done enough trolling for the day.

We all know how pro-mask mandate you are and that you are not willing to accept that it all comes to an abrupt end tomorrow (actually in 3 hours it all ends), sucks to be you. You are the one living in an alternate reality, not I.

Thanks for admitting that you totally misconstrued what I said. All you can do is use hyperbole and lie. That is trolling.

I never said those those things that you claimed I was saying. Time to shut your yap unless you want to actually talk about what I really said. I need to stop feeding you.

Poll from Canada shows those most compliant with the Covidian biomedical regime are now the main constituency for World War III.

Ever think Covid was the best time ever to roll out mass social control processes Now the fruits of their labour over 2 years has created a malleable population that will buy into whatever they're told to. The dissenting even self censor to avoid being removed from society.

I wish this was a joke. The fact that it isn't makes it even funnier. I'm picturing you now, front row, singing along to the music inside your N95 mask. lmao

I visit TERB almost exclusively for pro-mask comedic relief these days.
Here's a question for you and others of your ilk.

I know that you guys are as happy as a pig in shit that your "freedoms" are being returned to you by the government dictators. Good for you. You have overcome (but only in your own minds).

But all of you are so selfish, which you always deny and don't understand why you are characterized that way, that "getting your life back" is not enough for you. You now feel the need to attempt to mock and shame others who want to continue wearing a mask in certain situations. If I wear a mask how does that affect you in any way whatsoever? Why do you care if I do or don't? You are still allowed to breathe on anybody you want. What happened to your philosophy of "my body, my choice"? BTW, it was a lame attempt at shaming and a total fail. I have nothing to feel ashamed of.

Once again you have clearly demonstrated that you are phoney, selfish hypocrites who, since day one, have only thought about only your own sorry asses and nothing else. Nobody else matters to you.

You have, once again, shown the utter shallowness of your character as well as an utter lack of intelligence and morality.

Gladly as time goes on and the pandemic wanes, we will have to endure your childish whining less and less.

Was just at the Eaton Centre over the noon hour, no masks required for entry, my estimation : 90% of mall patrons are still wearing masks, including myself. Before the lifting of masks, it was pretty much 100% mask wearers.

The anti-everythings are still the vocal fringe element. Maybe we can use their leftover masks as gags.
