Never a big fan but he has some nice stuff for sure. Although "Old Time Rock n Roll" Is like nails on a chalkboard for me.

Glad I'm not the only one about Old Time Rock n' Roll. The lyrics are just so awful. Never a big fan of Bob Seger. Katmandu and the Strut song are other ones that get on my nerves.

I am so old I can remember when Bob Seger was a regional star in Detroit trying to go national. In those pre-internet days whether or not a song became a hit depended on radio airplay. So the program directors at radio stations had tremendous power over singers' careers. One of the most powerful and influential in the 60s and 70s was Rosalie Trombley at CKLW in Windsor. Seger's song Rosalie is about trying to get her to play his songs.
