Having a stupid argument…. Dump it here and let unqualified strangers on the internet settle it for you.

To start…. On Q107 this morning…. They dropped a great question.

What do we have more of in the world, doors, or wheels?

I think wheels.

I have a 1.5 bedroom condo. I count 30 doors. I count18 wheels (a 4 wheel suitcase, a 2 wheel suitcase, 2 wheel vacuum cleaner, 2 wheels on my outdoor grill and I assume 4 wheels on my fridge and 4 wheels on my stove). However there could be more wheels that I cannot see, for instance in a motor.
In my vehicle there are 4 passenger doors, a door to my gas tank a compartment door in the middle console and one in the trunk. There are 6 wheels minimum - 4 driving, 1 spare and 1 steering wheel. How many wheels are in the engine and other components I have no idea.

If I had to guess I would choose wheels because far more things have wheels than doors.

I say wheels, depending on your definition. I mean, there are 5 wheels on an office chair, right? Now think of all the stools, chairs, shopping carts, golf carts, appliances with wheels...

Doors…nearly everything with wheels has doors but not everything with doors has wheels.
Office chairs do not have doors. Bed frames do not have doors.

Doh! I completely forgot about the existence of both those things haha I like platform beds and office chairs make my sciatica flare up.

Our bodies have combinations of doors and wheels with various ball joints and hinges.
The tongue is the strongest and most versatile of them.

How many doors do you go through to get to that office?
Main door to building, elevator door, door into company reception, door into office, door into washroom(men's and women's),stall doors in washrooms, door into lunch room, door into conference room, doors into underground parking.

I just realized it has to be wheels cuz wheels usually exist in pairs while doors don’t. Ack!!

Does the invisible door to Les Nesman’s office count?

Each of us has a backdoor. What counts as our front doors? And how about all these wheels spinning in our brains?!?
Now you’re thinking!
