I don't trust poutine either but no need to get all paranoid... unless it's the Black Sabbath version of course.I don't trust Putin. It could be a ruse for him to somehow use nukes.
He's capable of anything.
He lied to his own military, saying that they were only there for military excerises, catching them off guard. He lied to the Ukranians and the West when he said that there was no way he would invade. He lied about the Ukranians being Nazis and commiting genocide, and the he was there to save them on a peackeeping mission. He's a pyschopath who is capable of anything to fulfill his twisted and demented fantasies of grandeur.I don't trust Putin. It could be a ruse for him to somehow use nukes.

Or a savvy genius? He lied to his own military, saying that they were only there for military excerises, catching them off guard. Also the above.Don’t trust them. Just a good lul for the Russians to regroup and resupply.
I would think - if Putin is rational. - that this was the goal of the invasion, to force Ukraine to agree on neutrality and the loss of Crimea and Donbass. As has been proven in the previous faux diplomatic efforts to find a solution, this is nothing but another attempt at extortion.
Putin does not negotiate, he extorts.
The Ukrainian contingent is going through with this to 'buy time' as 'time' is an asset the helps them and 'time' is a detriment to Putin.
Guess we'll know by Wednesday.I would think - if Putin is rational. - that this was the goal of the invasion, to force Ukraine to agree on neutrality and the loss of Crimea and Donbass.
I see no other rational reason for a full invasion. Putin can not rationally expect to occupy Ukraine for long, and to take Kiev would be extremely bloody.
Putin, of course, may have lost it.
The time needed for more weapons to arrive. As has been proven in the previous faux diplomatic efforts to find a solution, this is nothing but another attempt at extortion.

If true, then Putin has gone mad.Russia is going to offer terms for Ukraine to surrender. Putin wants all of Ukraine, "neutral state" the ship sailed long ago. So back to fighting.
I hope not, I hope Neutrality happens, but it may end up in a ceasefire for more time for both sides to regroup and rearm, they just go straight back to war. But I think Putin will test NATO by trying to take the Baltic Countries (Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania) after. Our only hope is that Kremlin officials stop him.If true, then Putin has gone mad.
Paranoid would be predicting that it will happen.I don't trust poutine either but no need to get all paranoid...
Which they could do anyway. The Ukrainians are going to counter-attack, just dig in and stand firm.Don’t trust them. Just a good lul for the Russians to regroup and resupply.
I don't think so. His plan was to seize Kyiv against no resistance with airborne special forces, seize Zelinsky and his associates and take them back to Russia for a show trial and then over-awe and occupy the rest of Ukraine with armoured units. None of that has worked.Russia is going to offer terms for Ukraine to surrender. Putin wants all of Ukraine, "neutral state" the ship sailed long ago. So back to fighting.
