Exactly. I thought he was a pussy, but this guy could have easily chosen to flee. He knows that he is the primary target, and is going to be taken out, He has a family and most likely will be killed in the next few days.

I agree that he is walking the talk.
But I disagree in him giving out rifles to everybody to fight a professional army. That is suicidal.
President Zelensky is hard proof that you never give in to thugs. Democracy can be messy, the Ukraine had a succession of kleptocratcs and oligarchs until him. He's the first decent leader that Ukraine has ever had. This has happened before, Mikhail Shakasvilli was a capable leader, Putin deposed him in Georgia, now an oligarch is running the country.

Yes, but this (suicidal) is why Hitler was defeated by Russians, Belorussians, and Ukrainians (three largest nations in former USSR with common history and traditions). Ant the lack of it in Western culture is why Putin is winning and there is nothing West can do about it. For the West, 1% GDP decline is more important than Ukraine.
