1. Aaron Rodgers - One of the greatest of all-time, but conservative play in the post season is hurting his legacy.
2. Patrick Mahomes - Exception talent, but other young QB's closing in fast.
3. Russell Wilson - Great deep ball accuracy, proven winner year after year.
4. Matthew Stafford - Elite arm talent and put up big numbers in Det. and now a SB winner.
5. Josh Allen - Could be number one soon, improves every year w/ a great arm and powerful runner.
6. Joe Burrow - Highly accurate passer with extreme confidence.
7. Lamar Jackson - 2019 MVP has electric running ability and speed, but most improve drop-back passing.
8. Derek Carr - Tough and proven leader, just lacks elite talent.
9. Justin Herbert - May have the best physical tools in the league, just starting out.
10. Dak Prescott - Similar to Carr, tough and proven leader w/ accurate mid-range ball.

This is for QB's returning next year, Tom Brady would be in the top three, but he retired. QB's just outside the top ten are, Jimmy Garoppolo, Kyler Murray, Matt Ryan, Ryan Tannehill, Carson Wentz and Kirk Cousins. If Baker Mayfield can come back healthy, he has the ability to be in the top ten.

I'm interested in who will be the top 10 next year.
Of course this is my personal list from my expertise....of sitting on my ass and watching a lot of football.
Next year I would expect Kyler Murray to improve and maybe Dak or Derek Carr to drop out.

My top 10
1. Patrick Mahomes (when he wants to be)
2. Aaron Rodgers (too bad he's a prima donna)
3. Josh Allen (he showed me what he's made of in playoff game. An MVP is on the horizon)
4. Russell Wilson
5. Matt Stafford
6. Joe Burrow (on the rise)
7. Lamar Jackson
8l. Justin Herbert
9. Kyler Murray
10. Dak Prescott
Baker Mayfield should be in the top 10, I don't know what happened to him. He has all the physical tools to be there.

Is DeShaun Watson in Houston done, or does he eventually return to the NFL sometime next season?

Mahomes
Allen
Herbert
Burrow

Those 4 are head and shoulders above the rest except for Rodgers and who knows what is going on in his head

Can't argue with your list, this is going to be a "make or break" year for Baker. Either he rises to potential or he just another Kirk Cousins type or worst.

I wouldn't put Burrow or Herbert ahead of Stafford, just yet.

I think he is done is Houston, needs a new start in a different city, after he gets thru his sexual addiction/activities issues.

If I could take any QB for my franchise I would take Mahomes but since mjg1 said this is for next season, here’s my top 10.
  1. Allen
  2. Mahomes
  3. Herbert
  4. Prescott
  5. Rodgers
  6. Jackson
  7. Murray
  8. Stafford
  9. Burrow
  10. Carr
I left Russell Wilson out because he looked very average for much of last season. I think he’s can still be good but just outside of top 10 at this stage of his career IMO.

Aaron Rodgers behind Dak Prescott, that's very interesting!

That was against my instinct but I am betting on age starting to have an impact… not much of one as a top 5, but eventually there needs to be some decline, I figure.

Murry started out on fire the fizzled our. Carr had a career year, one he is unlikely to emulate any time soon. Dak still isn't 100 percent and may come out looking better if they have a run game again. I don't see say one of these three having a better season

As a Charger fan who watched every game they played this year I would rate Herbert just behind Rodgers and Mahomes.

He's that good.
I thought Herbert took a small step backwards this past year which is why I rated him as low as I did. But it wouldn't surprise me to see him jump a few notches come end of 2022 season.

Russell Wilson traded to the Broncos, it should be good for Wilson, but the Broncos gave up too much.
