Alberta wrote to the federal government Feb 5 asking for federal assistance to clear the Coutts blockade. This was sent before RCMP seized weapons and laid conspiracy to commit murder charges. Alberta now launching legal challenge of emergencies act.

Im still surprised there wasn't one fatality or serious injury in trying to remove the blockades. At Coutts where they found multiple weapons and a serious threats to kill RCMP officers. I’m proud of Canada for that
