The parked trucks are in the hundreds, but on saturday and sunday when the pedestrian protestors show up its easily 10,000 (if not more). There weren't 10,000.
The numbers are in the hundreds

So then I assume you were this active and riled up during the BLM protests during the summer of 2020. I assume there are at least as many posts made by you chastising those who were starting fires and looting as there are about the disturbances associated with this protest.I can't speak for others but I don't condone or justify any unlawful behaviour by any side in protests. I don't care if it's the convoy, BLM or fans celebrating a sport championship.
As I stated though, I am not going to pat anyone on the head for not causing shit. I expect people to behave and those who don't should be held accountable. I also expect those around them who witness that to make an attempt to stop their actions and not justify it as anger or shrug their shoulders, do nothing and say "that's not all of us."
I joined terb March 2021 so you will have to either take my word for it or believe I am not genuine. I will not lose sleep either way.So then I assume you were this active and riled up during the BLM protests during the summer of 2020. You were just as active about those incidents, right?
Exactly. These trucker dickheads who don't represent the vast majority of Canadians, will get bored and move on soon enough. Or they'll get towed. It's no longer an protest, it's an occupation.
90% of Canadians have taken the vaccine. Restrictions are being relaxed, not by some truckers honking their horns, but because hospital numbers are going down. The vaccinated have won!
5 for diving and a game misconduct. An Emmy for the performance in a comedy.
Makes you think it's not a protest against mandates but something else. Is it really American right-wing insurrection on Canada? We may see more of this in 2024? Liberals need a majority to draft up new laws.Exactly.
Numbers are way down, everything will open up and the protest will have done nothing.
So They are going to sueYou miss the point, the governors of Texas and Florida are admitting they funded a Canadian protest who's stated goals were the removal of the Prime Minister.
I have no idea how we missed it....Makes you think it's not a protest against mandates but something else. Is it really American right-wing insurrection on Canada? We may see more of this in 2024? Liberals need a majority to draft up new laws.
Then good. As long as you are consistent in your condemnation. As for me, I don't see why one can't compliment a group f protesters given the comparative nature of other large gatherings.I joined terb March 2021 so you will have to either take my word for it or believe I am not genuine. He took his hood off and did not wear a mask, thank you, stupid criminals.Yes, they are so happy. Not at all angry or violent.
You may have spoken too soon, they haven't left and things can turn ugly. Then good. As long as you are consistent in your condemnation. As for me, I don't see why one can't compliment a group f protesters given the comparative nature of other large gatherings.
Considering most cities can't even have a sports team win a championship with out a riot breaking out. I'm looking at you Vancouver and Montreal.
I will pat those on the back the protesters in Toronto this weekend that managed to behave themselves, as it is becoming increasingly rare. Just I pat on the back the thousands of Fans that turned up in the streets for the City's horrible organizational excuse of a parade for the Raptors when they won.
And despite all the bullshit that happened during that parade because of the incompetance of the City and their ability to properly plan the event. The crowd never once rioted, or destroyed property. A wonderful example, and in comparison to other large crowds that gather, they deserved to be patted on the back for their behavior.
In the face of the realities of the world, you can choose to be a hardass if you want. But I will acknowledge those who stand out from what is typically happening, even if that standing out is simply for doing what should be done.
Truckers can’t cross into the US either unless they are vaccinated so the whole protest is stupid since they can’t go south to the US so crossing to come back will not be a problem anyway.Cannot truckers get tested before crossing border? Would that not solve the protest ?
Well it obviously isn't much right now, as I can't even find anything on it today in Toronto when doing a Google search. You may have spoken too soon, they haven't left and things can turn ugly.
Gunshots at City Hall on that Raptors day.Just I pat on the back the thousands of Fans that turned up in the streets for the City's horrible organizational excuse of a parade for the Raptors when they won.

I'm no hardass, I just have expectations that people shouldn't be commended for meeting the bare minimum. Then good. As long as you are consistent in your condemnation. As for me, I don't see why one can't compliment a group f protesters given the comparative nature of other large gatherings.

Yeah not going to happen despite the extreme intolerant left trying so hard to label anyone they don’t agree with as extremist, or boogie man extremists right, or racist this or intolerant that when they are doing this against the ones they disagree with. We saw how desperately they wanted and hoped for it to turn into Jan 6th and nothing happened like they hopped. These idiotic ideas came form the left media. It’s just one projection after the next. It’s like you see zoo animals throwing poop against the wall and hoping something sticks. Why do you want an intolerant society so bad that supports authoritarian governments?Makes you think it's not a protest against mandates but something else. Is it really American right-wing insurrection on Canada? We may see more of this in 2024? Liberals need a majority to draft up new laws.
The only update I found is that TPS open some roads but still road closures along University ave.Well it obviously isn't much right now, as I can't even find anything on it today in Toronto when doing a Google search.
The gun shots were gang related and didn't really have anything to do with the parade or parade goers themselves, so to me that didn't really count.Gunshots at City Hall on that Raptors day.
Then there was the G20 riot backed by unions and leftie politicians.
You will only have won if Trudeau keeps the vaccine mandates for air travel, truckers.....etc for an indefinite period of time. These trucker dickheads who don't represent the vast majority of Canadians, will get bored and move on soon enough. Or they'll get towed. It's no longer an protest, it's an occupation.
