...

As someone who grew up in rural Canada, I am reminded that farmers are hardworking, decent and helpful people, when I saw those farming tractors last night....
What do farmers have to do with the vaccine mandate for international truckers?

An assault on reality. Sad that people prefer Ezra's spin over what was actually said.
Ezra is a piece of work. Anyone who takes his rag Rebel News seriously is basically on the side of FRINGE.

Ezra Isaac Levant is a Canadian media personality, far-right[4] political activist, writer, and broadcaster. He founded Rebel News (which he owns) and Western Standard (being its former publisher). He has worked as a columnist for Sun Media, and hosted a daily program on the Sun News Network from the channel's inception in 2011 until its demise in 2015.

In February 2015, Levant founded The Rebel Media (also known as Rebel News) along with Brian Lilley. He is currently its main contributor after Brian Lilley resigned, citing "lack of editorial and behavioural judgment that left unchecked will destroy it and those around it".[5] Under Levant, Rebel Media has been accused of being a platform for the far-right anti-Muslim ideology known as counter-jihad[6][7] and is widely associated with promoting hatred and dangerous right-wing propaganda posing an active threat to marginalized groups in Canada.[8][9]

Levant has become involved in several legal and other controversies on free speech issues. Levant has been successfully sued for libel on two occasions, while apologies and retractions were issued by him or on his behalf on three other occasions. In rulings for two legal cases, judges said of Levant that he has a "reckless disregard for the truth".[10][11]

This was the size of the counter protest :ROFLMAO:
The health professionals are busy saving lives put at risk by the loudmouth yahoos.

PS: There are few things that pisses me off more than hindering ambulances to reach hospitals.

Yes. That was easy.

In a GTA of 5 million people, having a couple thousand people at QP is pretty fringe
Absolutely no way this is just a fringe minority.

Did you believe Trudeau as well when he said the Ottawa protestors are racist??

The Nazi swastika has been occasionally associated w racism, Lol. Ditto the Confederate flag. And ditto the organizer making a public speech denouncing Jews and Asians and claiming that the "White Race" is going to be "replaced".

What's your proof that they're NOT racists?..... That they said they weren't, in a carefully edited press release?

But surely anything that's posted on Wiki can be challenged and queried. If the "left wing ideologues" are saying mean things about your hero, why aren't you on there, challenging what they say?

In frigid temperatures in the middle of our winter the turnouts have been amazing.

Wait until they are camping on the front lawn of Parliament Hill in the summer time if Trudeau does not concede........

I lived in Montreal during the FLQ crisis. I hope I don't have to go through this again in my old age.
Same here. I'll give PET credit though. When asked would he invoke Martial Law he angerly replied ''Just watch me''

Isn't that what's called a "coup", Oracle?

As opposed to an "election", which is how Canadians usually do things?

Are you saying that people are not protesting in other countries?
Frequently. Old truck videos are "re-labelled" to make it seem that there are protests, but actually the footage is from totally different occasions and events.

: to not understand or appreciate a larger situation, problem, etc., because one is considering only a few parts of it.
Explain how that applies to this thread.

Farmers were part of the protest. Yes, they were there on Friday.
"The farmers came to Queen’s Park, or at least nearby, on Friday.

Close to 50 tractors arrived in downtown Toronto to show support for the trucker convoy arriving Saturday and calling for an end to COVID-19 restrictions at all levels of government."
