If there is anything that liberal and conservative politicians can agree on - it is taxing the middle class.
We would be paying ~ $0.92 if it was not for provincial & federal taxes. And before you run to your political corners - over the last 10 years were have seen both level of governments switch parties and gas tax has always remained.

I'm sure not too many terb members are old enough to have watched the TV series "The Millionaire" when it aired between 1955 and 1960, but the premise was that a fictional extremely wealthy man, named John Beresford Tipton, would select a random person each week and give that person, via John's representative, $1,000,000 tax free, no strings attached. Of course back in those days that was an unheard of windfall, and the story would follow the enormous effect it had on the recipient's life.
Today that would barely buy you a detached home in an OK neighborhood in Toronto, with no pocket change left over, if you paid in cash...

April 1st the carbon tax is going up. Taxing the middle class is what they mean when they say that they'll tax the rich.
High school must have been a real challenge for you.
We need to stop demonizing the oil and gas industry, stop de investing in fossil fuels and start re investing in them. We will need affordable fuel to survive until the scientists figure out how to transition away from them.

This is the only thing that is a direct result of lock downs and restrictions as globally we just haven’t been able to get up and running to the speed we need to. There are also jobs in the supply chain not being filled because after all the government hand outs feel entitled and feel they should earn more and are not going back to work. The Irony of this is if they get paid more lol all that increase in pay will go right back to final consumer that will pay more.

Housing price is due to historical low interest rates we’ve had since 2008 and some extremely stupid policies on behalf of liberals and conservatives
Gas majority of what we pay is tax, if you going to claim lock down pushed prices up you are wrong it should of pushed it down as we have plenty of supply.
Main issue with gas is storage we tons of supply but no where to store them and between and liberal and democrats in the Us can’t get jack shit approved

But, our schools don't turn out enough STEM graduates but they do a great job of turning out liberal arts graduates who don't even know what is a screwdriver.
