I don't need a 4th dose yet and nobody is suggesting I get a 4th dose yet. Has someone told you that you need a 4th dose? Is there an elf that pops out from under your bed and informs you that you will need a 4th dose? I had my 3rd last week. This morning I ran 6K and could have done more but had an appointment to catch. That's 13 million people locked up in their houses without even possibility to go and shop for food. Meanwhile, in Canada a plane full of kids on their way OUT is the top news story and we are still on schedule to send our athletes to China. Unbelievable.

This isn't a VOC (variant of concern). It was discovered in early November and never took off. Considering we're in the fucking thick with this Omicron wave and haven't seen this variant at all should tell you what to actually be concerned about, hint....Omicron.
Considering this variant was detected around the same time as omicron and we have 12 cases, it doesn't seem like a major concern.
I agree with you that the booster shots will have to go on for eternity.
The only thing that hopefully stops it is Omicron which will gives us natural immunity.

Each variant seems to have it’s own distinct personality, apparently Omicron seems to be able to evade the current vaccines in many cases, is associated with less mortality, is the most contagious variant to date and is clogging up the ICU. Other variants resulting in more ICU deaths thus freeing up hospital beds.
This year is not starting off well at all with the quasi lockdowns, the vaccine fiasco, the boomeranging local and geopolitical jargon and bullshit.
Omicron is not the end, just the end of the beginning as most people on the planet have yet to have even gotten a first shot. There is also ominous silence from massively populated China which seems to be trying to contain an outbreak.
It will be impossible to vaccinate our way out of this pandemic and France’s IHU should be arriving in Canada shortly with more mutations, variants with expected unique virulence on the way in 2022.
You are right, booster shots will be in vogue for the foreseeable future as will the economic destruction for many.
