Also, some (many?) people confuse citizenship with ethnicity. Citizenship can change and some even have 2 or more citizenships. Ethnicity can't be changed unless one is able to change one's DNA.

Christia Freeland is an ethnic Ukrainian from Alberta. Some people (probably lefties) wanted Miss Freeland to condemn her grandfather. She declined (good for her).

A French Canadian family adopts Irish children orphaned during their voyage to Canada in the 1850s.
In the 1950s, the Detroit Red Wings had the Production Line, Gordie Howe, Sid Abel and terrible Ted Lindsey, the best line in hockey finished 123 in scoring in 1950 and won 4 Stanley cups up to 1956. Their goalie was Terry Sawchuk, a Ukrainian from Winnipeg. Known to be the most miserable prick in hockey. Grew up a Leafs fan in those days hating the Red Wings and Canadiens. At least I remember seeing the Maple Leafs (LAFFS?) win their last Stanley Cup in 1967.
By far, not the best Ukrainian looking woman I have seen, though she does have a decent body, IMO.
A couple more points:
1) The western "redneck" is a myth perpetrated by eastern liberals. I found westerners have many admirable traits. They are straight shooters, industrious, not whiners, self-sufficient, helpful, etc. My only complaint is that those Ukrainian farm boys play a rough and tough brand of hockey LOL.
2) I met some Ukrainians who have some Asiatic features. When a little tipsy over 5 glasses of beer, they would say "damn Mongols" LOL.
Don't tell anybody but my first woman/girl was Ukrainian-Polish. Blue eyed blond. A real cutie. No need for anymore details.

Ok, back to the Irish. All anyone needs to know is there are the following two Irish.
1) The Good Irish --- they are the Catholics.
2) The bad Irish --- aka "Orangemen". They are invaders, occupiers and oppressors. They actually consider themselves British and not Irish.

She may have had some Danish blood in her and looked like my Danish daughter in law does, if you were that lucky. LOL. But very unusual for Ukes and Poles, most are brown hair and dark eyes.e
"Acadia" was an early term for what are now Canada's maritime provinces. In my understanding, many French Acadians who were expelled ended up in another French colony at the time, Louisiana, and the term "Acadian" evolved into "Cajun". Interesting that a wonderful Cajun culture ( food, music etc.) evolved, at least in part, from those early French settlers in Canada.
Two of my Ukrainian uncles moved to Toronto in their mid 30s, made their own homebrew (moonshine whiskey). You could pour some in a small dish, put a match to it and you would have a lovely warm little flame all day. Tasted great too.
I did a search for pics of Ukrainian women. The girl/woman in the pic below is a pretty close resemblance. Notice the blue eyes and blondish hair.
Reminds me of that great song by the band, Acadian Driftwood (gypsy tailwind, they call my home the land of snow). If you have ever been to New Orleans, my favourite US city, you can go to dance clubs, watch, listen and dance to Cajun music by live bands, including the playing of washboards and you would think you were in New Brunswick and then eat some great Cajun food.
