I'm still losing money on day 4. Beside the bank stocks are long-term hold - just wait after few days later. Once we hear about the test results on how effective the COVID-19 vaccine are against the Omicron variant. It will determine the upcoming market.

Until then - don't panic sell! haha

What would make this more fun is if we actually did this with $10k each and posted SS of our accounts like Phil does. I might be interested in this game next year and call it pretend game. Don’t want to be triggered for daily trader this year because already close to it but pretty confident within the month starting in January with day trading or trading multiple times a week would be exciting and have confidence I could do okay.

In the past year and a half, I've decided to not overthink it. I just put it all in stocks that I was confident about and that I actually use (Apple, Canadian banks, pharmas and a few others) and I am very happy with the results.

I can't be bothered with bargain hunting and buying based on speculation these days. Most of us can't afford the elites like Amazon or Google at their current prices but affordable blue chips with dividends like the above represent safe and lucrative options.
