Update for the week
At the moment, I am losing money on cryptocurrency and some on the regular stocks. But I still haven't sold it. I am still holding.

Ohhh... most of us that frequent the business section also have money in the markets. Hence our interest in the business section. We all have real lives. Just sayin.
Also, some of us don't need to validate ourselves on the hooker board everytime we make a dime when the market goes up. Mostly because its arrogant and immature... but also because, people who feel the need to brag about money, anonymously, could be exaggerating. After all, talk is cheap.
Now, you're welcome to play to show us all what genius you are...

I suggest a re-start for 2022 with a running balance for every buy and sell to keep things honest.
That way we can keep the contest interesting.
BTW - I will stick to my prediction that there will be a series of tremors of 15-20% market pull backs in the next 18-24 months.

We can reset. I am still going to follow my original picks to see if I would have ever made money...
OK, reset for 2022. $10,000. to buy new stock or buy your old picks. I do not think much will happen between now and new years and even not much in the first few weeks. If we do not reset people will lose interest if they are in a hole. ( even if it is play money )

webull has a nice paper trading account and apps on any phone and the web. You can also easily monitor your performance and it’s super quick to set up a free account.
I use webull for all my stocks, crypto and TA just to track even though Canadian can’t trade. I even pay like $3/4 per month to get the level 2.

So the outcome after the new year is.... I am losing money if I sold everything off right now.
All my stocks made money except FB/Meta stocks. But I didn't make much profit since I was focusing on getting dividends from those stocks. Except FB /Meta. Which it is hard to determine under the paper trading.
So, majority of my lose came from cryptocurrency ADA. I put in about $4000 worth of Canadian dollars.
If I had sold it off last weekend - I would have made over $450-500 Canadian dollars. But I didn't because I thought it would go up again.
I got a little too greedy with cryptocurrency haha oh well!
Overall, if I focus on being a Day trader - I could have made a good profit but very risky. If I focus on being Warren Buffet - long-term investment and hold on to good companies et cetera.
