I got the DVDs from WKRP via zip,ca back in the day. I couldn't get into it anymore for some reason. I find that with most shows. Shows where "Ah dude man, if I could get the DVDs for that show, it would be an obvious choice" but nope.
I think part of it is that shows that I really love, I've already seen all the seasons and watched it over and over in syndication to the point where I just can't go back to it.
Maybe I can watch an isolated show once in a while but that's it.
However there is always a new Kdrama to watch [only once] so meh, I'm good.

Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister is an exception.

Funny how nostalgia works.

I was looking at certain Vincent Price films he made for Hammer when I came across The Hilarious House of Freightenstein. What surprised me is the rating it has 8.3/10, that's as good as The Walking Dead.

Hopefully they get rid of Benson and the Flying Nun.

When he played Benson on Soap he had an edge to his character due to racy nature of that show. His character on Benson is too predictable and boring. Caught a few episodes of the Partridge Family to check out Laurie. They could have easily done that show without the youngest two. Danny 's character carried that show. I would do Shirley Partridge (Laurie too). Katherine Hemond on Soap had a wicked set of tits back in the day. I could tit fuck those puppies all day long.

The woman and fashions on Hawaii 5-O and The Odd couple are deadly. I love the women of that generation. Stylish, curvy and per my old Playboy mags, lots of puffies and big areola (did puffies just disappear?)

I do wish they would get rid of that annoying reverse chip mortgage ad...

Aww hehe It was just for today pretty sure. Get Smart is back on for tomorrow at 4:30 right after The Flying Nun. I have the first two seasons on iTunes and I’ll probably get the rest as well unless they play them all out on CHCH.
Some of the old shows have escaped the cancel culture, for now.

The Danny Thomas Show now at 2pm and The Andy Griffith Show on at 3pm.

I vaguely remember the DTS, looking forward to see it again and who doesn't like Andy Griffith?

Andy Griffith will be fun to watch...The Danny Thomas Show is old and dated...

A CHCH review...

Matlock-they have gone thru the entire series once and are now on there second go thru, I hope that they don't do a third....same format every episode.

Green Acres-stupidly funny, they also are on there second run...funny characters but I've seen enough for now.

I Love Lucy-old and dated...I'd like to see the Lucille Ball shows where she was working at the bank with Mr Mooney.

Bonanza-love em...over acting, for sure...the fight scenes are something, never seen more guys get knocked out with one punch...women get treated like shit, the PC crowd would have problems with this show.

Hawaii 5-0-McGarrett is awesome, still a fun show to watch.

The Danny Thomas Show-to think this was a sitcom in the 50s, it's not that funny 60/70 years later.

My Three Sons-I use to watch this show, it's dull to watch now.

The Andy Griffith Show-still a fun show, Barney Fife is the main character for amusement.

Get Smart-still funny, very creative...

Odd Couple-classic, one of the best sitcoms of all time.

Family Ties-I like Michael J Fox and remember liking this show too, it's not that funny anymore.

Who's the Boss-never liked it, Tony Danza was ok in Taxi but not as a leading man.

Happy Days-still a good show, Fonzie is an icon.

Not CHCH, but I've been watching reruns of Quantum Leap and Murder She Wrote on VisionTV

I've forgotten how great a show QL was, it's theme song is one of the greats, last 3 nights had , IMO, the 3 best episodes of the series that involved Al's wife and Sam's family.

Never saw Murder She Wrote during it's first airing back in the day, It's a pretty good show with all the famous guest stars and all.

Not a fan of either of those...but...VisionTV has Columbo, I like those.
