Jacob Blake was validly shot by a police officer in self-defense.

1) The state declined to prosecute the officer.
2) The Feds declined to prosecute the officer.
3) Kyle Rittenhouse --- not guilty.

Now, you have lost any semblance of winning this debate.

I have observed Contact's posts - he is calm, and rational, and not provoked, whereas you are clearly a hothead who seems to feel that name-calling and low-level crude vitriol somehow constitutes a rational argument.
that's the usual M.O for anti gun and anti America people

I don’t hate you guys but it’s worth noting we kicked you ass every time you tried. United States was weak until all the people with money moved from Europe to escape wwii. American military was a joke until the end of the war. United States tries to take credit for winning wwii but they were just a help to the British and Russians. Canadian soldiers were way more effective better trained and courageous than yours

Let me explain Canadians' feeling towards Americans.

Most Canadians feel positively towards Americans, although, like any two countries, there are aspects of American laws etc that they like or dislike. The US is like our big brother that sometimes bugs us or bullies a bit, but nevertheless were are generally on each others' side.

This is a totally separate issue from liking certain laws etc. I think some US laws are poor laws, and certain forms of justice such as being able to sue someone and not have to pay costs if you lose (correct me if I am wrong about this) which can lead to nuisance lawsuits. But hell, I hate just as many Canadian laws, as a Canadian.

But there has always been a core of Canadians, albeit a minority, generally academics and left leaning groups and politicians, that are consistently anti-American. It is ideological with them.

But like any country, it i smade up of individuals, so to say AMERICANS are this, or AMERICANS are that, or Canadians feel this is nonsense.

Just saw Sandy Hudson interviewed on TV. She will use this verdict to raise more funds for her BLM "office" and to disrupt the 2022 Gay Pride Parade.

you might want to rethink that post

the US had approx 16 MILLION troops in ww2
Canada had under 500,000

WHEN has the US ever had to protect Canada?

I can think of a couple of times when Canada had to help the US out of precarious situations, for instance letting your planes land here on 9/11 when the risk to our own country was unknown, and let's not forget that time Canada got those six American diplomats out of Iran.

You won't make friends here with your jingoism.

if it wasn’t for wwii United States wouldn’t be much different than Mexico. The allies needed a safe place beyond the reach of the axis to produce arms. United States was supplying both sides until the war was nearing an end and they finally jumped in to clean up the scraps. They did fight the Japanese and won then the worst act of terrorism in history. From then on United States relied on production of arms to cement themselves as a superpower. oil is heavily important to the United States as opec trades in US dollars so if you don’t need oil the US dollar tanks.Russians threatens to trade oil in rupees which would sink the us. the United States empire status is done. They just simply cannot compete with a fiscally responsible russia and the massive economy of China. Trump
Did exactly everything wrong by trying to bring you back to the 1950s. The only hope for the United States is to pull money out of the military and invest massively in technology and education. Because their empire was Built on the military the United States cannot fathom this

Antifa is a Marxist domestic terrorist group dedicated to the overthrow of the current power structure.
Antifa literally means anti-fascist. So if you are anti-antifa….you’re a fascist, like Hitler and Mussolini.

I've been to the U.S. many times. Very familiar with NYC. When I lived in Calgary I took the opportunity to visit the northern and western American states. Never had any issues with American LE even though a state trooper once gave me a ticket for speeding.

Yes, I disagree with some things American, particularly their current protectionist trade policies.

And in the United States melt down in 2008 Canada had to send them money to bail them out
