It looks like Skitinhouse is going to get away with murder.

The US is fucked.

☹
It’s not murder it’s self defense Canadians can’t seem to understand that we Americans have the right to defend our lives and property. Canadians have been conditioned to assume the fetal position and wait maybe hours for the government to come save you.

Nah. We have self-defence up here.

We just don't walk around with guns.

You have not figured out this was a dog case . No ADA worth anything would put their name on this case . Hence the new guy gets fed to the dogs .
No.

Guy's clearly very experienced and no one gives a murder trial to a novice.

Kenosha might simply not have a very good DA's office. And the standard of lawyering is far better in Canada.

There's the difference. In The States the law abiding citizens do- as well as the thugs.
In canada just the thugs do.
Hmmm..... I haven't seen any vigilante groups walking around carrying openly in Canada. Now have I seen any rioters burning down buildings and carrying glocks.

I think I live in a better country.

When he said thugs I'm pretty sure he meant gang-bangers, and he'd be right

Just try and shoot someone inside your house in Canada you will be arrested and Lise your job family and assets fighting in court
No kidding. In Canada, you don't have the automatic right to kill intruders. You have to prove self defence or defence of property.

It's a better law than the US.

No, it's a "with prejudice" mistrial. The charges would be stayed forever and KR would walk without the case going to the jury.

You missed the point
If your point was that Rittenhouse was the thug then I have to disagree.
Misguided stupidity of a 17-year old =/= a thug.

The real thugs were the people burning down private businesses that had nothing to do with police brutality

So, the lefties put us through all this and the results are:
1) Both the state and feds declined to charge the officer.
2) Looks like Rittenhouse will walk.

Maybe there is justice after all.

Question: Do the NBA players still give a damn? Will they boycott more games if Rittenhouse walks? They didn't boycott any games (or did they?) when the state and feds decline to prosecute.

You keep missing the point of a very short, simple post.

...Plus you are in a area of high volatility . Best to have your defense weapon ready .
So I guess that justification works for both people. Actually it has more validity for the other guy since Kyle already showed his willingness to kill.

Thats completely irrelevant to his murder charge. If its illegal for him to be carring a firearm the only charge they can get him on is for that, but not for the murder (which was self-defense)
Did you imagine that I claimed illegally carrying was the reason for "murder" charges? And if you want to be detailed, he is not even charged for murder.
