With his goal tonight Marner is now on pace to score 9 goals this season which would be $1.2 million per goal.
I would trade Marner for nothing in return. Just take him and his whole contract.
Marner is untradeable, unless the Leafs retain a lot of his contract.
The Marner contract signed 2 years ago was the final straw for me and I stopped drinking the kool aid. Always thought he was overrated.
Should pay Tavares with Mariners salary. Tavares scored more. Marner scored on goal and lost a tooth. He still has more than 30 teeth. Wish he could trade a tooth for each goal. He is useless and a waste of $$

The same reason why Hamilton won't get one. Then Toronto Ottawa and Buffalo will want one too.

Zach Hyman is on pace to score 82 goals.
And will Freddie Andersen win a Vezina Trophy this year now that he has a hockey team playing in front of him?

Wow...Mitch Marner is a point a game player thru his first five seasons, but by all means, lets evaluate and trade him for the first nine games of this season...what a reasonably fair way to look at it.
Hey, Marner only has one more goal than you got...if you can skate and fight I'd give Kyle Dubas a call...
Ever since the "collapse", social media criticism of Marner has been brutal. He is simply not a $10.9mm player. However, Marner does have his fans on TERB.
