Those who enjoy music, we all remember the band Chicago - great great band, had everything - great tunes, great singers, great vibe especially how they incorporated the horns into each song. Anyways, if you loved that band - have a listen to a band called TOBB (The Original Bullshit Band). Band is from Norway and it's worth a listen for those who enjoyed the music of Chicago and that style in general.

Terry Kath was an incredible musician but a big dummy. He thought he was playing Russian Roulette with an unloaded gun, he was the soil of the band. They turned schmaltzy after his death.

I'm a huge fan of the early Chicago sound 1969-1977. Once Terry Kath passed away they changed their style, mainly due to the pop driven influence of producer David Foster. Favorite song of theirs

By the time I saw Chicago live Terry Kath was already gone. They went through five different guitar players after he passed.

Their Fritz Lang tribute (Metropolis, M, film noir of the same name).

I didn't know that is how Kath died. Helluva guitarist! But yeah.... helluva big dummy too.

Loved the original couple of albums, but you're right. They turned into a top 40's PoS shit band later.

:ROFLMAO: that's when I became a fan, after I heard C16, I was hooked and then discovered their earlier recordings, still like everything they did all the way up to their last studio release CXXXVI.

They were good all the way through, I just preferred their earlier sound. It had soul.

Chicago peaked too soon.

When I saw them Rob Lamm sang Terry Kath's parts, I don't remember the guitar player's name, he was very good. Danny Seraphine as a drummer takes a backseat to no one.

This is more of a Suite than a Ballad, with a lil bit o Bach mixed in.

Once Pete Cetera took over lead vocal they sucked the big one.
Cetera was lead vocalist on several of their earliest hits, including Call on Me, 25 or 6 to 4, Just You N Me and Wishing You Were Here.

Early on wasn't too bad. Stuff like Baby Please Don't Go was sooo sappy. It took all the life out of their music.
