There is not a right for people to eat inside a restaurant or work for a certain employer either. Not sure what your point is.

As to why I'm responding, wasn't the internet designed so people who don't know each other can argue? 😉 And I'm comfortable with my mild OCD.

The laws implemented by society carry the privilege of being part of that society.
If you insist on going in circles…….

His feelings are wrong. He could have not taken the vaccine and faced the repercussions like those 1,400 health care workers. They were undeniably not forced to get the vaccine. Why is Wiggins any different?

He probably has enough money for the rest of his life already. But his choice was more money ahead of his (supposed) principles.

It is stupidity to say that people are being forced
Its stupid to not see how this is being forced on people

Fox News staff is %90 vaccinated, the %10 choose to have a swab up their nose for a daily covid test. Their body, their choice
Now this is a perfect solution. Both sides come to a mutual agreement.

And Glamster, the % goes behind a number, not in front

They are being persuaded.

1,400 did not take the vaccine and preferred to get fired. There is the undeniable proof that NOONE is being forced. You are arguing that black is white.

He already did. I would have to find the quote. It was recently.

It was :

“Is it coercion? Yes”

Or something like that. I’ll have to find it. Or my quote of it.

Ya I see nothing wrong with what Fox is doing.
Fox is forcing people to get the shot.
They have a system that is more demanding and restrictive than the one mandated by the US Government.
They have put in a coercive system that threatens your job and makes your life more inconvenient and irritating, counting on this coercion to make people comply.
How is Fox being more restrictive fine?

I dunno.
It's plausible as an explanation for the Anti-Vaccine attitudes, but I don't think it quite fits - at least as presented in that article
Do you agree there is at least coercion going on?? Yes or no??

My bad. I thought they were allowing vaccination or testing. Giving people the option.

They are being less restrictive by allowing their employees to skip the vaccine and make them take a Covid test every day before they come into work

That's my understanding, too. AND, I've been asking for it for the last couple of months. My employer will probably put it in place instead of demanding proof of the booster shots. The unreliable efficacy of the vaccines(drop to 20%) after 5-7 months(New England Journal of Medicine 2021 10 06) negates the assumption that the 100% vaccination rate will protect the office from an outbreak.
