Thats not how it works. Average Ocean tempertures are up period, which causes hot and cold rain or drought depending on local conditions.
Oil and gas knows, he's just not above pushing more Exxon type misinformation when he's not whining about Greta.

One past "winter" I was cutting the damned grass on Remembrance Day, so I say bring it on. If I'm not afraid of some snow, how could any self-respecting Canadian be?...
It's not "fear" of snow that I have.

It's DISGUST!!!

When I was working in the sub-tropical area of Brisbane Australia for three years the Ozzies always would laugh when two Canucks would cross paths, and the first thing we would talk about was a casual comment about the weather.

Down there the tv weather forecast was often 'fine, fine, the third day out also fine.
They could not fathom how changing weather could change what you would do in a day.

They would strike a face of horror when we would describe what freezing rain was.

You don't understand what happens when polar vortexes hit, do you?
You get parts of the northern hemisphere with extreme cold and parts with extreme warmth.

I did not address the issue of Polar Vortexes, so you have no evidence one way or the other about my knowledge of that subject. My point was a more general one concerning the value of evidence in supporting a theory.

Actually, that's fine, you can say that, except that you have set up a situation where ALL evidence, regardless of what it is - even totally opposite evidence - they all support your theory.

That doesn't make sense. That's religion, not science.

Or let me put it this way: tell me then, what kind of temperature patterns for the Northern Hemisphere in winter would you agree that, if they occurred, would NOT support Global Warming Theory?

I await your reply. Have a good day.

Meanwhile antarctic ice is rebounding again, which flies right in the face of global warming

I love that this is the chart 'proving' this claim.
Science deniers are such easy marks.
If you read anything legit you'd understand that ice melt in the Antarctic is occurring in glaciers on the coasts, that's what they are worried about. Not in the interior just yet.

Oh, and there's this.

If global temperatures were declining instead of increasing, you'd have a serious argument.
Your total lack of understanding of climate vs weather and the new extreme weather events caused by massive change to the jet stream that now give us polar vortexes is just yet another example of things you don't understand.

CO2 is going up, global temps are going up. Extreme weather events are going up, we have more droughts, more forest fires and more extreme storms.

Well, you seem determined to discuss polar vortexes etc, but either fail to understand my point or feel threatened by it. I can understand how pleasant it is for you to divert attention away from my logical point, but I refuse to be diverted.

Now, I repeat. what kind of temperature patterns for the Northern Hemisphere in winter would you agree that, if they occurred, would NOT support Global Warming Theory?
