Merryweather vs. Patiño today.
I'm guessing we'll probably see Stripling at some point as well

If he helps them win today, then it was a good trade.Merryweather is whom the Jays obtained from the Indians for Josh Donaldson, with Toronto paying a big chunk of Donaldson's September, 2018 salary. He's only pitched 30 innings of pro ball after 2017, (Tommy John surgery in spring, 2018). He'll turn 30 in October. His career stats are unremarkable:

Since Springer is pretty much an automatic out with that bum leg, I would move him down to ninth until his leg is good again.
I would then move Gurriel Jr up to 4th and Guerrero behind Bichette.
1-Semien
2-Bichette
3-Guerrero
4-Gurriel
5-Hernandez
6-LHB: Valera, Lamb
7-Dickerson
8- Catcher
9-DH:Springer (he will still be ahead of Semien, Bichette and Guerrero like before once lineup is turned over)
Note: Today's game at 3pm
IDK. He and Valera are putting a sting in the bottom of the lineup and preventing opposing pitching finding a "soft spot" to coast through. He's doing well batting 7th.Time to move lourdes Jr. up in the lineup, he's smoking the ball right now.
In the entire history of baseball, no other manager has ever shown such poor judgement as to put on THE home run jacket. It's mind blowing.I think walker did that to show up montoyo. Montoyo is like keefe, not a big league coach. The hr jacket should never be put on by the manager. He has no feel for the game. I question if they bring him back if they flame out the last 10 games, but having a spanish speaking manager may be necessary at this point,
Wouldn't take much to blow your mind quack. In the entire history of baseball, no other manager has ever shown such poor judgement as to put on THE home run jacket. It's mind blowing.
Thanks for another in long line of uplifting, positive posts from you.
Montoyo is back next season no matter how they finish.
Thats funny, because its trueWouldn't take much to blow your mind quack
I'm not the one who made the idiotic statement. You set yourself to be mocked, and deservedly so.Wouldn't take much to blow your mind quack.
I am not surprised that you agree with a guy who says that you judge a manager based on whether he puts on a home run jacket or not. You've proven once again how little you know about baseball, among many other things.Thats funny, because its true
Well, at least you got Gurriel moved up to 6th from 7th for tonight's game.Since Springer is pretty much an automatic out with that bum leg, I would move him down to ninth until his leg is good again.
