Does anyone have any sympathy for this bully who ended up dead?

There was a similar occurrence some years back in Oshawa with a star football player who constantly picked on a much smaller kid. The smaller kid came prepared one day with a knife, and the bully and a crowd of instigators made the unfortunate mistake of waiting for him by the bus stop that particular day.

I had a violent time in highschool being a mixed race kid. Two guys that picked on me ended up getting killed in very violent ways.

I don't think this incident is similar to the one you pointed out. This was just an unfortunate altercation that got out of hand.

It was more spontaneous, but it's typical clickishness from teenage males. Not much different than the situation I mentioned.

The situation you mentioned went on for a while with an intended target. This incident was out of the blue. Any chance you could finish your stories.

Sounds like you haven't been involved in any real beef. I bet you're very soft in real life.

It doesn't matter how long anything went on for, it's a minor difference.

I was watching a Kdrama about dudes who hunt down defectors from the military [DP or DP Dogs]
Of course it's often someone running from Bullies.
In the last episode [as if any of ye will watch it, this keep sits alone]
the guy is about to shoot his bully and I was like YES do it, do it, but sadly he doesn't.
However the epilogue scene was nice if confusing as hell

Not all who are picked on are victims.

Some people bring shit on themselves, they bring out the worst in people because they are the worst people.

They should not have carried on for 20 blocks. That was just stupid. Eric should not have punched the teen. The teen that did the stabbing should not have had a knife and should be charged with carrying one at the very least.

I think the teen doing the stabbing should have been charged. He left, came back and stabbed someone because that person was not attacking him but someone else. That is not SELF defence.

Glad someone pointed that out. Also a gag order to prevent the little nose drip from going around bragging how he got away with killing someone...

Sounds like park scene in the movie The Outsiders.

Seems like both groups wanted an issue as this could have been avoided by both parties. Not sure if that should be called self-defence.

My question is how does this continue for 20 blocks in the Downtown area of our nations capital without police intervention?

You would think someone would have called this in or a cruiser would have noticed it.

I think the takeaway here is to control your road rage. When dealing with strangers you have no idea who your foe is; he could be a maniac and may even be armed and prepared to use deadly force to defend himself, as was the case here.
Odds are it won't get to the point that it did here, but is it really worth it to play the odds?

This reminds me of an incident that happened here in Montreal a few years ago. Guy gets cut off, then chases his target til he corners him at a dead end. The cornered guy then takes a chainsaw out of his trunk and warns his pursuer to back off. He does. Even with these 2 morons cooler heads prevailed and tragedy was averted.
Too bad that wasn't the case here.
