@Fred Zed

it is happening WAY more then once per session. And it should be more like once per day but I have been on TERB for maybe an hour this morning and have had 3 pop-ups already.

Just feedback, not bitching.
Same here..way more than once.

That is why I thought I would give feedback. Maybe they don’t know or having changed a setting that needs to be changed back. Don’t know but they won’t either unless someone let;’s them know.

Yes thats certainly not the behavior of the pop ups that i was hoping for. Maybe a calibration problem. If you dont mind i will get Mark Service to reach out to you via PM and ask you some questions. Thank Jenesis

Things that might possibly affect the frequency of popups:

How one enters the site, (from shortcut icon/ bookmark/ typing terb.cc in address bar/ selection from autocomplete list/ from newly opened tab, etc.).

Does the member remain logged in when they signout?

What browser is being used?

What device is used to access TERB?

I see popups very infrequently, and usually Ashley Madison. I usually enter the site from newly opened tab or selection from autocomplete list, and almost always enter on this page:

I use PC exclusively.

Firefox browser.

"I usually enter the site from newly opened tab"

Does that mean you have to key in the address and sign in with your name and password every time?

No, File -> new tab from Menu Bar, (or CTRL + T). If you're logged in to the site, you status doesn't change if you open a new window or new tab.

@Mark Service

Just some more feedback. The TERB main front page WAS giving a pop-up every time you clicked onto the forum entry button but it is not now as of this morning.

I have been on and off all morning but keeping the same window open, I got on pop up with I started, that was it for that tab.

If I opened a new tab, I got a new pop-up. Regardless of it being a main page or direct forum access/notification button

Where as before it was all on one tab and got a bunch in an hour. And it was clicking the notification link.

All is on Mobile. iPhone/safari

Hope that helps.

I'm still totally confused but glad that it is TERB and not the Russian mob causing these popups. No, I am not interested in Russian brides.

You bunch of pansies. So you click once to close the window, big fucking deal. An absolute minor inconvenience to keep this place running and free.

If it was once we'd get use to it. Just like the new format which I whined about but got use to it.
As it is it's more than once which is not a minor convenience. They are working on it I know.
You don't mind it, cool. Keep on clicking

I have a Raspberry Pi running PiHole for DNS resolution on my network. Pretty much eliminates all pop up and intrusive ads without the annoying 'You are running an ad-blocker' messages. Also can run the free version of games on my phone when connected to home Wi-Fi without being interrupted by ads every 27 seconds.
I can walk anyone who wants to through getting PiHole set up. Software is free, hardware is cheap, setup is easy.

Thanks. Good job. I see more banners for those that were pop ups. Much more tolerable.
Whining over 😉👍
