I know some of you like Penny Oleksiak and her 6 foot 1-inch hulking frame.

6 foot 1!!!

I'm in love. I had no idea she was so tall.

I don't follow Olympic anything but I knew her name because Cathal Kelly of the Globe and Mail writes about her all the time (but I didn't even read the articles he wrote. )

I LOVE tall women. They are so hard to find. Most women out there are maybe 5-3 or 5-4 which is just meh for me. I had 2 six foot tall girlfriends in university and that's where I developed my love of tall women. When I see a tall woman in public, I rake notice.

But 6-1? That's not hulking, that is absolutely perfect.

I gotta say, I still don’t understand the hype of the olympics?

Watching athletes get supported and travel around the world to play a game seems like a waste of billions of dollars.

Watching people play isn’t my thing. I’ll go be active and enjoy my personal experience but for the most part it’s a waste of $ that could be used to help feed the poor.

Never played competitively? I played soccer up to a high level then Alpine skiing race and later in my late 20 Triathlons.

Watching the Olympics gives me gooses bumps. Any sport as long as I see them giving it all. It gives me goose bumps and I almost cry every day watching the Olympics.

I know the road to get there is so full of sacrifice. I feel them.

There's something about these women who are mostly young, and all very healthy that gives them a particularly attractive look.
Even if they are average looking by most standards, their healthy aura often shines through and gives them tremendous appeal.

As for the Olympics themselves, an outstanding display of human achievement.
These athletes have trained for years to become the best inn the world at what they do.
As someone who played many sports at varying levels of competitiveness, I fully appreciate their abilities and performances.

I want to like her. that height is droll inducing ….but I have a feeling she doesn’t like men :(

I mean that doesn’t make me turn away just that I like to pretend I have a chance lol.

You don’t even need to ask that question lol. Whenever someone brings up that point about “just playing a game” you already know they never played competitively/at a high level.
