I've seldom hobbied over the past few years and I've noticed that the amount of scammers and thieves advertising has greatly increased from when I started.

I was wondering what others thought of this idea? A page like the one that lists legit Leolist providers. This one to list ones that rip guys off. Not the ones that ask for etransfer. There's too many of those scammers. Just don't be an idiot and send money to someone you don't know.

I was thinking more of a page that when legitimate trusted members on here get ripped off, we organize and members go to the site and flag the ad. If the crooks post more ads, we post them and collectively flag them. I'm not sure but I believe if enough people flag the ad. It gets taken down.

Doesn't just protect us. It protects lobbiests that aren't members and hopefully would put these crooks out of business.

Obviously we wouldn't want to hurt the honest girls. So there would have to be some sort of criteria whether it's by the members reputation or multiple verifications. Hopefully it would be acceptable to the mods

Also it would be kind of like helping to protect our area from these bitches that steal our hard earned dollars.

There is a good verification process here on terb. People have to fork out good money to post here. I unfortunately don't because because it's a "Toronto" review board i get a lot of people from the gta messaging me thinking I'm in Toronto.

Unfortunately on leolist, it's more affordable and very profitable for scammers. I feel it too. People are so used to scammers catering to them, talking to them all day and being overly sweet and almost willing to carry on internet relationships with people. If they make even $100 Canadian it's a small fortune for them with the exchange rate. They cam afford to talk all day. Leolist does have a verification process to be added to their directory but I don't think they push the directory listing as much as they should. During the lockdowns everything went online and there are a number of people I've met who think they are in a relationship with women all over the world recently . It's like nothing I've ever seen before. The scams are unreal right now. I've even had people try to take over my phone number. They wanted me to follow a link and put in a code found I'm my settings and I was like "nope". That was a popular one for a while. It was more prevalent than the cheque cashing ones I always get. "Want to make $1000 in 20 minutes?" ....no thanks

Just stick to this section, put Durham in your signature and in any ad outside of the Durham section and it will be fine.

Many outside of Toronto say that TERB is expensive. It is basically one hh call or less a month but the ROI is much higher making it worth it. They just haven’t tried to see what clients can get brought in.

I agree with you, Jenesis! Terb is the only reputable platform for Sp’s to advertise on. There are very very few legit Sp’s on LL and forget about the other platforms.
Rarely do you hear of a terb member getting poor service from an Sp who advertises here.

You are entitled to your opinion Paul but, honestly how many ads on LL are legitimate? If it’s 20% I would be surprised. By legitimate, I mean real pics and following through with services offered in the ad or by text. On terb the Sp’s use real pics and often provide links to their website. A few do on LL abut, not many.

I got ghosted after paying for digital content, a friend of mine tried to do a meetup and got ghosted after deposit.. that's when we realized it was the same person
