Ahhh. It’s subjective. Clearly a red in other games. I was just baiting for the guy who called out sterling for diving. Wasn’t a dive, the second defender barged his hips, but, subjective. Anyway, enjoy Italy fans. It must be a great feeling. Congrats.

That and he’s too slow to make substitutions with a squad that has so much depth. Mancini made the subs first then Italy started dominating and equalized, then Southgate makes a change but it’s already too late. He should have made his subs the same time as Mancini. You could tell right away Rashford was going to miss when he started doing that stupid jogging on the spot thing. Subbing on cold Rashford and Sancho in the 119th minute to take Key penalties backfired big time.
Southgate blew it with the subs and Italy win on 2 shootouts with Spain and England and didn’t win a game in play. That’s football. Lots of luck. Til next time. Well done Italy.
Ps. These bunch of English kids were still the best team in the tournament, most diverse, took a knee and wore the rainbow. An example to the world. It came home, not football, but showing the world how to respect one and other. Love it.

I repeat, Southgate has to go, a serial loser and far too defensive. Frightened of losing instead of delighting in winning.
Nobody has ever received a red card for pulling a shirt in the middle of the pitch with no clear goal scoring chance.
By the way, sterling dove a few times in this game also, but the referee ignored his theatrics.
Things got dangerous in England
English fans were going crazy even before kick-off.
I have English roots and immediate family still there but I find it hard to support them due to their supporters, who reflect society over there. They were spitting on a Danish family last week (mother and 2 girls of something like 11 and 14) and abused a Danish family on a bus. The English hate anyone who is 'foreign' with Germans and French at the top of the list.
