Remember last Euro when all the fans were mixed together? There were tons of gang fights between all the fans throwing bottles and patio furniture at each other on a daily basis. The Russian ultras in particular targeted the English fans full out mob attacking them in the stadium and the streets. They literally have training camps out in the woods where all they do is work out and MMA spar against each other. The English hooligans who are basically just a bunch of drunks didnt stand a chance against them.

Comparisons of England to the Leafs are trending on Twitter.
Lovely Barry Bonds saz, "next question cuz that's stoopid".

England is on the rise while the Cream Puffs have already shot their impotent wad. I was impressed by the young talent England has, they will do the Red Soxs thingy sometime in the near future. However talk of firing Gareth Southgate should end cuz it's stoopid...unless you have a better manager in the wings. With was he's accomplished so far, he deserves another chance at International glory.

I have English roots and immediate family still there but I find it hard to support them due to their supporters, who reflect society over there. They were spitting on a Danish family last week (mother and 2 girls of something like 11 and 14) and abused a Danish family on a bus. The English hate anyone who is 'foreign' with Germans and French at the top of the list.
How can they hate the French and German? Aren't they all relatives due to their incestuous nature and inbreeding starting with the many Euro royal families :) ?

I wouldn't compare England to the Leafs.
Getting to the finals is major.
I know it's a let down, but I always view the finalists as 1a and 1b.
On another day it could have gone the other way.
In the world of soccer, it is the same. They have all the talent, money and support but fail to win the trophy years after years in major tournament. Forget about getting to the final, there is only 1 winner

That racist abuse is shameful and in no way reflects the respect the country has for Rashford given his campaigning for meals. You'll find idiots the World over if you look hard enough.

Italy deserved the win but Southgate made some decisions that critically affected the outcome. Obviously one for bringing on the two inexperienced guys at the last minute for penalty taking duties. The other was the change in formation reported by the BBC commentators at the start of the second half that proved too defensive and gave England few chances to get out of their half for long periods.

A couple of referee decisions which favoured Italy could have gone the other way another day, another ref. But that's football.

I get that, I'm just saying they aren't the Leafs. You wouldn't compare them to the Sabres because they haven't won the cup.

I hope this spells the end of Immobile on the national team. I had no clue he was on the field against England and Spain, and the only reason I noticed him against Belgium was because of his shameful thief-in-the-night routine.

Some of these English types really do deserve farts in their general direction.

How can they hate on Bukayo Saka, he's a generational talent could reach the level of a George Weah. There's no shame in getting blocked by Donnarumma, he's only the best goalkeeper on the planet. If the Brits don't want Saka we'll happily give him an Italian passport. As for Immobile, he's done. Here's his replacement for the World Cup. May sign with Juventus within a month.

Oh, he reminds me of a Christian Vieri type.
I prefer Luca Toni to Vieri. Vieri was prolific at club level, at Azzurri level, he was only as good as Baggio made him. He was a liability during the 2002 World Cup.

I like how people are taking shots at Harry Kane. Name the last English captain to lead them to the finals or even semi finals of a major tournament. I'll give you a hint. It wasn't David Beckham Steve Gerard Rio Ferdinand or Wayne Rooney.
