No Conservative wants a Far right Leader like Le Pen to be in charge. They would rather have a centrist or left of centre politician / party to take charge.

C19 has nothing to do with it, though it has helped to mask the full economical impact of Brexit.

C19, it absolutely does. It demonstrates they had the autonomy to get a vaccine released without the EU red tape. The UK is a lot more agile now.

UK will lose northern Ireland and Scotland in the near future, the trade deals which they all touted as "oven ready deals" prior to Brexit are in reality total BS. I think they have signed 2 trade deals so far, Japan and Australia, both of which are horrible trade deals.

It will not sink in until the chavs start seeing the Spanish taking cheap holidays in the UK.

Boris has benefited big time from C-19. It's taken any focus off the total uselessness of Brexit.
