Tbay was just a little better than they were in every facet of the game tonight. They are well oiled machine that plays tremendous positional hockey.

It's going to take a herculean effort to beat them.

Agree. The damn Lightning copied the "Montreal System". The Habs don't have anybody to match Hedman, Point, Kucherov and their $98,840,470 playoff payroll. Win or lose the Habs and their fans should still be proud of their accomplishments.

The Leaf's have shown no post season heart, soul, desire, or hustle and a have couple of supposed "superstars" who have achieved nothing in their post season careers - so sure "crickets" right back at you fan boy.

Throwing jabs and taking jabs, all in good fun, with rival fan bases. I did bet against my Leafs to lose game 7 and made money but I won't bet on the Habs beating Tampa.

Me neither but I sure will scream and dance around for hours if they somehow win! When the Habs scored the last goals againts Vegas in OT me and my kids screamed like hell and when outside to scream and dance with all the neighbors It was a first for my teenage kids. We are mostly MLS soccer fan but let's say Montreal has not given much joy since they join the leage haha

The Habs were out-Habed tonight. Outshot and outplayed Tampa but ran into a hot goalie and Tampa clogged the neutral zone playing the trap game.

Truly good teams find ways to win even when they are outplayed for long stretches of a game. Tampa is a truly good all around well balanced team.
It was a much better game and effort by Montreal - but Vasilevskiy stoned them.

Hoping for a better outcome in games 3 and 4 - but the Hab's playoff magic is ebbing just a little.

On the one hand the last game has to bolster the Habs confidence that they can out play Tampa.

But on the other regardless of the dominance in play they still lost. That's a kick in the teeth.
