For all their flash, France was weak in defense. The Swiss took exception to Pogba showboating after he scored his spectacular goal. The Spaniards are very young with only Sergy Biscuits in the +30 range and they are cohesive. They don't have a defensive Zilla like Carles Puyol but they may not need one.

Germany is not a great team this year, they're missing some of the greats ones they use to have like Klose, Beckenbauer, Schweinsteiger, Klinsmann. The brits hustled more. Sterling hustles like crazy.

Yeah another battle that went on for a long time. I don't think either team was very good, I think the guy deserved the red card, it makes me crinch when I see the knee going backwards, I hope he's not damaged for life. The Brits will take Ucraines easily.

On paper it looks like England will win easily but the Ukranians are coached by Sheva. The fascinating part is both coaches were influenced by Italians, Sheva by Carlo Ancelotti, whom he played for. I have no idea if Gareth Southgate ever met Marcelo Lippi, it seems to me like he's studied his playbook.

Belgium vs Italy in Munich, which is almost a home game for the Azzurri. I got around very easily with just Italian in the city...and smoked pork knuckle is better than spotted dick.
