I'll just say one thing and then I'm done. Ever wonder why black communities seem to have so many arrests? Are they breaking the law more frequently than white communities? No, that isn't really the case. The difference is the black community has police there all the time, arresting or giving tickets for anything. Remember the whole "broken window" policing theory, where if you leave it alone, things will get worse? Well, they imposed that shit on the black communities, so they are basically oppressed. Rolling through a stop sign? Immediate ticket. Having windows a little too tinted? Ticket. Walking down the street with some friends? Stopped, frisked and questioned. Caught with one joint? Jail. So, the stats show a huge surge in arrests/tickets, so they start putting even more patrols into those areas. Are these things happening in the white neighbourhood? Sure they are, and yes, people are arrested. But are they happening at such a massive disproportionate rate? Probably not. The difference is the cops are always in the black community.
As a white person, you probably never see this, or think the black area is a cesspool of illegal activity. But I can promise you, if the cops patrolled the white neighbourhood as oppressively, the numbers would show the same thing.

There is no point in equally patrolling a gated community with private security if there is a disproportionate number of calls are to a different neighborhood 20 to 30 blocks away.
