Yes they gave us the Astra Zeneca ones that were due to expire as they did not approve of them. But Canada has surpassed them in percentage terms for those who received at least one dose of the the vaccine. At 66% Canada are the highest vaccinated nation. So disappointing for the right wingers as this landmark was supposed to be achieved by the end of September, and the usual grumpy right wingers groaned and moaned about how that was more like "Wishful thinking"!!

You can try your percentage bullshit all you want the fact is there’s 40 million Canadians and 330 million Americans of which about 200 million + have received one and in many cases two shots which means the Americans have given way more shots in Canada ever will and they’ve done it in a quarter of our timeframe and on schedule not four months apart

OIC if you want to use just the numbers rather than per capita figures then there are over 600,000 deaths in the USA from Covid-19 and just over 26,000 deaths in Canada. So 20 times worse than Canada. The USA needed to vaccinate their citizens more urgently and that is why they had to hoard the vaccines that they manufactured. Canada who do not manufacture the vaccines are still number one in the world for having the highest percentage of those with at least one dose. A FACT!! I know you hate such a statistic!!
Most Canadians are now getting their second dose in eight weeks or less. This reflects on the infection and death rates. Period!! Canada will reach herd immunity quicker that the USA. Our Covid-19 infection rates today are 296 v 11,659 in the USA in spite of the Americans having a higher percentage of those receiving the second dose. In the end the infection and death rates are all that matter!! Overall over 33 million Americans have contracted the virus. The population of Canada is just over 37 million. Yes almost the population of Canada. LOL!!
Overall goes to show how well our Government handled it vs the previous USA Government. Obviously the present USA Government are doing a great job and cannot undo interns of deaths what they inherited under the previous administration !!
