Vulgarity is warranted here, it's expensive, the ultimate pussy magnet dish.

I watched The Beat Bobby Flay episode where the feature dish was lobster risotto. Bobby screwed himself by putting Devil's Kiss peppers in the dish. He deserved to lose - why kill a lobster twice.

I've made this a few times, you can't leave the stove during the process. He's done it differently, he's added scallops which I don't use and he didn't add any saffron to the broth. He made up for it by adding white truffles $$$$. The wine should always be dry.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Americans! :)

A neighbour gave me some leftover turkey in October and I made this recipe (or at least pretty close to it...I added extra ginger because I love ginger). A good leftover recipe and it's very simple:

German food is very under-rated and very filling. I'm not big on potatoes.

Sauerbraten is my dish of preference, apart from the pork hock. The recipe is not entirely authentic, the gravy is made with ground Ginger Snap cookies.

...by not including them, he's making this recipe for mangiacakes.

He had me until dutch oven. Way to much turning over. When my Mom was little they lived on the east side of Buff. She said the smell of cooking saurbraten turned her stomach. This was during the depression...

Hopefully this is more appetizing. They say starve a fever and feed a cold, in Rome, Carbonara is considered medicine.

I would have advised Randy Santel not to do this challenge.

I mentioned Parma Butter in another thread. It's a very expensive, perishable butter made from the same milk used for Grana Padano.

You can go nuts and make Chicken Kiev with it. It's primarily used as a condiment for this:

Tutti a tavola a mangiare!

We've seen Lidia's grand-daughter Olivia grow up on her show. It must have killed her uncle Joseph to eliminate her in the quarter-finals of Master Chef Junior a few years ago.

Look at her now.

This would get lost in the film thread. Dua Lipa looks better in her natural nut brown. Pepper spread is common across the Adriatic, of which Albanians make the hottest.

I figured she wouldn't have much of a problem with da wings.

Nela Zisser, leggy supermodel, medical student and competitive eater.

I'm loathe to tell her that, due to recent events, I can't do the spaghetti carbonara challenge with her... that sucks Dicks Sporting Goods!

Kraft is advertising that their hazelnut spread is heavenly...how can that be, their peanut butter is pure shit?

Not for the weak of stomach, I warned her not to do this.

Some great eats have come to my attention recently, can't go there due t the pandemic. By the time I get the food home, it's cold.

Joel Hansen stuffs himself in my old neighbourhood. When will this pandemic end so I can drop in?

Calgary Flames Captain Mark Giordano and the late Tony Rosato are/were from this neighbourhood.

Anybody doing any cooking, salad making with Garlic Mustard? I put a bunch in my usual veggie stock along with the usual peelings, etc. Drain off the liquid and the remaining sludge is one of the best composting materials anyway. The people fighting invasives say the GTA is overrun with the stuff now...

Garlic mustard in a stock? Interesting...will have to try! 🙂

IMHO, too many people are against invasive plants or "weeds". Many of these so-called weeds are actually delicious and nutritious herbs that can be used in cooking or even for medicinal purposes. These plants are what people have been eating and using for thousands of years. Yet people mow over them, rip them out, and throw them away because they're an "eyesore". :( Dandelion wine and dandelion greens are both good for you.

With Euro 2020, there's been a resurgence in demand for "She Now Known As Nigellissima". I've made this dish with various types of noodles including soba.
