Did anyone notice a resuscitation bulb? If not the second medic would have had to do mouth to mouth. CPR should always be done on the breast bone separating the rib cages. You also measure two thumb lengths (protruding part only) from the diaphragm.

He is in hospital in stable condition. The good news, a cardiac arrest may not necessarily mean that his heart has been damaged. I hope he makes a complete recovery...He'll enjoy playing for Simone Inzaghi.

If he had a cardiac arrest, which looks like. His doctors seemed to have missed something, he's a athlete. Finland scored 1-0. I will be tuning into the Belgium game.

Good thing I did not get around to put any money on Denmark. They are toast.

I have to apologize to Von, Italy at least got a couple of goals against a similar opponent.

Finland's Hungarian goalie is pretty good, he must have chosen a social democracy over Orban.

I don't understand, why did the Danish coach bring in Stryger instead of Damsgaard, especially if you bring in Cornelius. Stryger plays defense for Udinese.

When I read that Eriksen is conscious and in stable condition, this popped into my head...so I'll play it.

I wonder what the long-term prognosis is for a cardiac arrest at his age

I would imagine that his days of playing top level football is over.

At least he will have ended his career at the top.

No, they were from "Rutland", a county in Eastern England which was legislated out of existence in the 1960's. Hence the joke name. Cymru = Wales, Am Byth = Forever!
Now I remember, Wrexham is The Spanish Inquisition, thanks for clearing that up. I didn't know about the joke name.

The Danes are playing Belgium next so they're probably toast. They just couldn't score today although it looks like they played better.

Chiellini had freedom to roam, Locatelli was covering for him. Max Allegri is back as Juve coach, he wants to bring back Pjanic. If he believes that Pjanic is better than Locatelli he's a massimo stronzato.

danmand must be beside himself with fear, Denmark faces mighty Finland.
I was reading Locatelli is not going to Juve.

Honestly, if they can get a draw and beat Russia after that, they have a shot at making the next round. Also, there is the possibility of them getting in with just 3 points. Belgium wins all 3, Russia beats Finland and Denmark beats Russia, leaving each team with identical 1 win and 2 loss records.

In theory, yes. But they will not get anywhere if they cannot score goals.

It is a shame, Denmark has a strong defensive squad, and excellent midfielders. They need better forwards.

Schmeichel dropped the ball. I was watching TSN, and one of the commentators said before the game that he was a good keeper but not world class. I thought he was insulting, but he was right.

There are spots for best 3rd place group finishers as well. So Denmark still have chance to get in that way.
They need to score more to get that goal difference up.
I want to see more Dolberg in game!
The procedures are as followed:
  1. Higher number of points obtained;
  2. Superior goal difference;
  3. Higher number of goals scored
  4. Fair play conduct;
  5. Position in the Uefa national team coefficient ranking system.

Ok so they have a chance, I prefer them over Russia and Finland.

The Danish coach blew it. He lost his player-maker, instead of bringing in Eriksen's substiture, he brought on a defender. Granted Damsgaard is only 20 but how is he going to learn if the coach doesn't show confidence in him.

The Finns goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky was outstanding, making key saves and saving the penalty. He's been in the Bundesliga since 2015, currently with Beyer Leverkusen. His father is Slovak and was a professional volleyball player. He was hired to coach Finland's National Team and never left.

Not many cardiac arrest victims get competent medical help within 90 seconds.
Social medicine at it's finest. Eriksen's life for the rest of the year is going to be a pain in the ass. He's going to be the ward of both Cardiologists and Neurologists. A Cardiac Arrest is devastating but it doesn't damage the heart in the same way a heart attack does. He'll be going through a battery of tests to determine the cause. My hunch is a concussion, an item not taken very seriously in football. Lukaku was praying for him after the match with Russia.

You are misinformed. Hjulmand brought in midfielder Mathias Jensen as a substitute for Eriksen. Mathias Jensen was the MVP in the Denmark vs Bosnia 2-0 test match June 6. He is a young, very talented player, like your favorite Mikkel Damsgaard.

Stryger Larsen replaced Simon Kjaer later in the match.
