The only way Carey Price leaves the Montreal Canadiens is if Carey Price wants to leave.
And, he can dictate where he wants to go.
The finances are a matter for Montreal & the acquiring team to hash out.
He does have 5 years left at $10,500,000/Year ($52,500,000).
Actual cash remaining is $44,250,000.
He just may want to leave...if the Scabs pick up half the tab and they find a trade partner to pick up half it could happen.

The Habs will never pay half the tab. Up to 20% maximum. But the most possible scenario might be the Seattle expansion. Will a situation similar to Fleury happen? Beside it's Carey's wife hometown!

Habs may as well put Caulfield, Kotkaniemi and Suzuki on the top line to see if they generate some scoring. Anderson, Toffoli and Gallagher on the second line. They have nothing to lose.

As a Hab-hater, I don't like the looks of Cole Caufield...5'6 smurf that likes to shoot...he's gonna score a lot of goals and is gonna be a pain in the ass for years to come.

Haven't been a Habs fan since Larry Robinson left, but my love for the city has never wavered.

I'm going to take the Sid Seixeiro high road and this one - the Habs will take the series.

Big Bird was the Toxic Avenger against the Broad Street Cunts. The Cunts were known for cross-checking opposing defensemen into the boards on icing calls. Some of them were aggravated John Van Boxmeer and Borje Salming were on the receiving end of aggravated assaults. Mel Bridgeman got lucky as Dave Schultz intervened against Dave Dunn (Leafs). Bob Kelly was not so lucky and Robinson turned him into Alan Minter.

Best hockey photo ever.

Marner is playing like a spazz. Keep looking up to the ceiling, his body language says he lost confidence. Turnovers again killed the Leafs in OT. All the pressure is on the Leafs, the Habs are playing with house money.

Extending the pain for who?

I will admit I have lowered expectations for the Habs and may not have the same passion as others, but I am thrilled they have pushed this to seven, even if they lose. Just to see some smarky Leafs fans squirm and now turn on the team even momentarily has been fun.

1967 forever.

I predicted the Habs would get easily swept in this series.....Man was I wrong.

The Muzzin injury only hurts the Leafs chances even more.

Care Price looks exactly as billed. Haven't see this version of him in a while.
