Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip have now killed a total of 217 people, including 63 children, 36 women and 16 elderly, the local Ministry of Health has reported.

Really sad that something that is avoidable such as these senseless bombings on both sides really requires all the nations around the world to pressure them to come to a permanent ceasefire truce. Very sickening that children and families had to pay the price for it and are the real victims. This decades old issue with a Stateless Palestinian homeland is the most pathetic failure of the UN, and NATO countries to not impose their influence to resolve it once and for all.

About half of the deaths in Gaza have been to women, children and the elderly. All deaths on both sides are tragedies, but Gaza is suffering through 20x the number of deaths and way more injuries.

You say Israel is apartheid because a meaningless clause saying Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people but you have no issue with Hamas declaring all of historic Palestine to be not just Palestinian land but Islamic land.
