The Marlies got 2 goals on the first 4 shots vs Price but then Price settles down, normal when you haven't played like 6-7 weeks.

I picked the Bruins to win the series in my Sportsnet pool by mistake.
That was probably a good mistake on your part because I think they will win the series. Better goaltending and possibly the best forward line in hockey with Pasternak, Bergeron and the weasel.

Smud would like to announce that Colorado, the lowest hitting team in the whole league, won yesterday.

Tom Wilson hit the post, doesn't deserve to win it. The hockey Gods say he should have been suspended.

The Jets take game 1 just when they looked dead in the water. I guess anything can happen in the playoffs.

Looks like Kadri imploded his career again with yet another dirty play in the playoffs, not mention exploding Faulk's head in the process. I'm thinking a major suspension HAS to be coming his way again. Just the kind of distraction the Avs did not need at this point while the team is firing on all cylinders. Could really have a major impact on how deep they go this year...

It will have little impact.
He will be back next round. Avs are a much better team than any of the past Leafs teams so they will maneuver around it relatively easily.

kadri was used as the scapegoat for much weaker teams that were not up 2-0 in a series at the time of an incident.
