anyone want to guess how long until one of them is seriously injured or killed? I give it 60 days
Not sure about NYC but Toronto EMS will not enter a building/house until they feel safe so they call TPS to ensure the building/house is safe. You never know when some manic will rush out of the closet and kill you with a knife.

Care to estimate the amount of sexual assaults they might face from mentally unstable individuals?
How about serious injuries or death?
And what does one do when a deranged/crazed person runs at you with a knife? Does an attacker stop after hearing "Wait! Let's talk!" ??
I will expect fewer deaths than the number of mentally ill killed by cops.
Violence and sexual assaults will be minimal.
I'd have to look at the NY stats in depth to be able to formulate any kind of prediction.

The one thing I don't understand about moronic groups is that if by statistic they are killing innocent mental people, why not use the "tazer" when help for mental person is required.

You are misunderstanding the goal of the encounter.
I am a cop. I tell you to obey. If you don't, I am allowed to torture or kill you until you do.
The goal is compliance. The safety or health of the person in mental distress is irrelevant.
so guy pulls knife and in 2 seconds stabs the social worker to death police are called and arrive well after the fact
in most recent mental person police shooting the family has called police because they cant control the person, then when the police shoot the violent mental person the family claims they were peaceful and wouldn't hurt anyone (why did the family call if they were so peaceful they should be able to deal with it themselves)
