Other than an excuse to bitch about brown people, how is that different than the entitled white hipsters in downtown Toronto or the Audi driving execs who think they're too important for the rules to apply to?
Right. All those people living in the same home with their extended families aren't working frontline line minimum wage jobs; they are actually millionaire lawyers who just enjoy living with 9 people in a three bedroom house.
There is no difference. Perhaps you can start a thread on white hipsters abusing the Covid protocols and then some brown guilt guy can chime in.
I'm close to a brown family in Brampton just off Williams Parkway.
They live 5 in a house. 3 kids paying the way for the 2 elderly parents.
They all follow the rules religiously. When I go over it's full mask in the house leave my shoes and coat in the garage. Sanitize my hands also.
They only go out to grocery shop and occasional walks in a neighborhood park. Always keeping distance and wearing masks.
So they are about as strict as it gets but they tell me that they are not the norm. As you have stated practically none of the younger people are complying with the restrictions and even the adults are fairly lax. It's just a more indifferent attitude. Almost no fear.
I have to wonder what percentage of them will get their vaccinations.......I'm betting it's relatively low compared to the rest of the GTA.

The kids care about the elderly parents. They probably also care about themselves too because the new variants are also deadly for younger people.
Your ignorance is laughable. First off, india is also one of the most populous nations in the world. Naturally, on a numbers comparison you will have more people. Now on the other hand, United states of America is not among the most populous nations, yet their numbers of infections were amongst the highest. How do you explain that?. ...do you see anti mask demonstrations in brampton....oh no....that too is in the Unites States.......give up this nonesense that somehow brampton is the source of covid.
Did you not hear the news of these container parties happening in toronto. Did you not see the pics of the parks in toronto full of people during lockdown. Did you not see the restaurant in etobicoke refusing to close, and all the patrons lined up to eat. What racist joint are you smoking.
To make the point simpler. If a room A with 1000 people, have 100 ppl with covid, and room B with 500 people have 70 ppl with covid. Which room has a higher percentage.
The US rates of infection have been very high. It's not because of brown people.
Say what you want, and keep ignoring what's going on. But everything my family members in Brampton have told me has also been verified by Indian people I know, who don't live in Brampton but have family there. They are the first ones to criticize the laxed attitude of Indians living in Brampton. As well as the family they have in India.
An Indian co-worker of mine regularly says India is horrible when it comes to following Covid measures, and often draws comparisons to them and the ones in Brampton residing in the areas that have a 25% positivity rate.
And let's look at that. 25% positivity rate. That means 1 out of every 4. Sorry, but there are not that many people working in Food processing.
LOL, in fact as of March 20, 2021, Thunder bay had the highest at 6.69% followed by Peel at 5,83% then followed by Toronto at 4.99%. I guess Thunder Bay is full of brown people as well.
I guess you get your stats from the same people you get all your other non nonsensical information. A lot can change in a few weeks, and has changed since March 20, 2021. Latest analysis by IC/ES (Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences) for the week starting April 4th shows Peel Region with the highest positivity rate in the Province at 16.23 %.
If you look at the data in the Tab "Percent Positivity by FSA" (which stands for Forward Sortation Area - a proxy for Postal Code areas) you find Area L6P in Brampton at 24.77 %, , L6R in Brampton at 23.33 %, and L6T also in Brampton at 21.88%.
Thunder Bay is now down to 1.79% and Toronto up to 12.22%
I am not stating an opinion here - just providing some up to date statistics. The reality is that things can change very rapidly - but I think most people would consider Peel Region to be a hot spot for Covid 19.

Mayor Patrick Brown said Brampton should get vaccine priority because they are at greater risk of infection.
Do you have any evidence to claim that Indian people in Brampton are worse at following the restrictions than other ethnicities in Brampton or elsewhere in Ontario?
Stats show a pretty clear link between infection rates and income levels which should make sense to everyone. Pretending it's because of skin tone or ethnicity is dumb.
